Went for tea on Saturday night, could not fault any part of it. The service was good, the starters, mains and puddings all delicious and plentiful, especially the ham hock mushy peas, and the pub itself was in good order. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful building and delicious food! We have just had a meal from the coachman inn and could not fault it. We both opted for the local beef Sunday road which was piping hot and absolutely delicious!! We had generous portions with cauliflower cheese, beetroot, carrots, roast beef, potatoes mashed and roasted and a gigantic Yorkshire pud! We had the 2... More

We were staying next door at the caravan touring park. We had a wonderful Sunday lunch here at the Coachman Inn...we sat in the bar area as we hadn`t booked and went on spec. Pity the pub closes at 2.30pm as we would have liked to stay longer for a few drinks. A day or two later we returned for... More

Just had sunday lunch here with my fiance and it was scrumptious. We had topside of beef and daube of beef, both came with huge homemade yorkshire pud, creamy mash and roast potatoes cooked in beef dripping. Also cauliflower cheese, carrots and red cabbage and meaty gravy. Wow!!! It was all beautiful, very tasty, excellent quality and cooked to perfection.... More

Alas, my visit was all too brief to do justice to the full menu - but the omens were very encouraging, and I shall definitely return. Away from the perfectly proper formality of the dining room, it was good to see that, in the Bar area, "Dogs and Muddy Boots are welcome". The contradiction in marketing attitudes is brilliant -... Came to Snainton for week holiday. Found this lovely pub/restaurant mid week after calling in for few beers. Service was good. Decided would have Sunday lunch the day we were leaving. Was adviced to book table as can be busy. Sunday came and myself; my wife & 2 family members settled down for our sunday lunch. Well what can I... More

My wife and I dropped in after a tour of the North Yorks Moors area and were met with a warm welcome. The menu was varied and offered a wide range of food. My wife had a fish pie and I had a T Bone pork steak, they were both very very good and presented well. The service was also... More
