It is tucked away in Libra Court but once found never forgotten. The food is wonderful. Carrot cake and scones are highly recommended and teamed with a cup of coffee or tea make a welcome mid morning or afternoon break from shopping etc. Everything is home made. Coronation chicken is a must. Lots of outdoor seating with a great big... More

Stumbled on this lovely little arty court yard on the way from the car park to the main shopping area what a great ambiance. Had a cream tea- as they make their own scones which were delicious. Husband moaned as he had spotted the carrot cake but there is only so much cake you can eat. Nice little menu /... More

In the pouring rain we were lucky enough to stumble into Selley's coffee shop. I asked if they had local crab on the menu and they did. We sat outside under an awning and watched the rain. We were perfectly dry and our lunch was lovely. We had Devon Red Cider, and crab salad. It was great and I would... More

Decided to stop off here because the courtyard was ideal for dogs. The menu was limited, but didn't see the specials board until we went to pay. The food was sandwiches we ordered were tasty, the only downside was how quickly our plate was taken away. We hadn't quite finished eating when someone came and cleared the plate off the... More

We had a lovely lunch here. i had a crab sandwich- lovely bread- which he kindly prepared without mayo. My husband had onion soup with garlic toast/crouton and truffle oil which he said was delicious. We were full but took the fruit scones home. Some of the best scones we've ever had- fantastically light. This is the lunch place we... More

Came across Shelley's while wandering around Sidmouth looking for somewhere to have lunch and what a find. Great service, even better coffee, sandwiches to die for and old Skool reggae in the background 😄😄 We had a Brie and Cranberry sandwich and a Coronation Chicken sandwich which were great - none of this Costa pre-made stuff but all freshly made... We visited Selley's Coffee Shop today and had the most amazing crab sandwich ever. It was rreshly caught today and you could tell as it was beautiful. We sat out in the courtyard with the sun beating down and you could not ask for anything better. The staff are very friendly, service is great and the food amazing what more... More

We have been visiting Sidmouth for years but have only just discovered Selleys tea rooms. We have been missing out on heavenly cream teas, excellent home made cakes and really good value. We will now be making up for lost time - Selley's is a real find.
