Terrific any time of year. They have maintained the tradition and long may they do so. The best pub ever and anywhere and I have been to a few.

Friendly atmosphere, lovely staff and good food, excellent value, try the sweet potato fries! This is a Youngsters pub so the beer is very good too!

My wife and I visited the Swan for a Saturday lunchtime drink and a bit of lunch. The pub was full of friendly, welcoming locals. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the beer was good, my wife's crab sandwich was wondeful and my portion of cheesy chips was too big to eat. There was a solid wood burner on the... More

This is a real 'locals pub' ,Its not a trendy flash place where you need to be dressed up to the nines infact you could go straight from the beach in shorts, t shirts and flip flops and no one would turn a hair. Food is always fresh local produce, beautifully prepared. Its plain home cooked good food, we have... More

Dropped in during Folk Festival Week - great beer average prices for the town and usual style entertainment for that week was brilliant.

Real Pub. Set in the back street off the front. Worth finding if you want to get away from the crowds. The food is wholesome and delicious and not overpriced. The staff are just great. Its a tied pub so its got Youngs Beer and local 6 per cent cider which I got kinda keen on! To all those that... More

Friendly pub serving excellent beer - we visited a couple of times and were welcomed into this traditional devon pub by friendly staff. We didn;'t eat but the food, served in a separate dining room, looked good.

The 'most traditional' pub in Sidmouth, yet they don't serve Sunday Roast - Why? Very Disappointed! Good outside seating area though.

Popped in here for lunch whilst on holiday. The food and beer was fantastic, it is just off the main drag so not full of tourists and good value for money.
