I went there with a friend on two different occasions. On the first one we went for breakfast. The guy at the bar was extremely polite and friendly, but cannot remember the name. Breakfast was nice and lots of things to choose from. On the second occasion we went for the Sunday roast. Again food was nice, the waitress was... More

Arrived just after 7pm and had to wait around 30-40 minutes to be seated, but once we got our food, it was fresh and tasty and at around £30 for a family of 4, the price wasn't too bad either

I'm not the big fan of British kitchen, but food here was good. First thing to like is good price. You can have breakfast for 4£ (still need to pay extra for coffee or tea) or dinner for 6-10£. I was here both for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is traditional English with eggs, sausages and toasts. Food was nicely prepared... More

All you can eat breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. Good food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. The buffet started a bit late though. I believe it opened at 8 but was good. We also had dinner here the night before which was a buffet with carved turkey and ham. It too was very good.

I'm not a great fan of Toby Carverys, but this one was better than most. The meat was nicely cooked, not too dry, and the veg was not overcooked either, If you are staying in the travelodge (as I was) its worth a visit. And much better than the Harvester up the road.

Very quick service, good quality breakfast and value for money. The kitchen didn't bring out my sons breakfast, after 30 minutes of waiting I enquired about its whereabouts, the manager apologised and gave me a refund as well as a fresh breakfast for him.

The staff could tell that we were Americans and really went out of their way to greet us and make us feel at home. The food was excellent. Very pleased and thought the price we paid was reasonable. Definitely recommend.
