Visited after a long day at legoland and we were greeted by the lovely Chris who really took time out to talk to us for a good 15 minutes about our day and talked to my 5 year old son. He was so helpful and made us smile and laugh, my son was talking about him for days. The food... More

Greecy, fat, overcooked and eating in a barn. Did not enjoy this one at all. Although you can't expect that much of course for the price paying for a meal. I guess if taking that into account they served a decent meal in terms of volume / weight.

Stayed in the travelodge next door. Opted for breakfast here. Had all you can eat for £3.99 however no drinks included extra £1.99 for tea. The deal is not so good then?? However we tried it anyway with two young children. Food was ok nothing special and not much variety to be honest. What we did have did the job... More

Waited about 10 mins for a table, then queued for another 10 mins for our lunch.unfortunately chose beef which was mostly inedible. Vegetables were lovely as was the gravy. When we paid for the meal we were charged £9.49 instead of,£5.99 because it was Sunday. Outside the sign says £5.99 and no mention of a higher price on a Sunday... More

Had very poor experience at this toby. We decided not to have the carvery but instead a salad from the menu wanting to have a light meal. Food arrived and it was disgusting! Both meals did not match up to the menu description. Not only this but the salad was not edible, including some insect life The manager agreed with... More

As per most Toby carvery excellent value for money, good quality food and good service from bar at seating manager, it is a pity that the chef attitude was very poor and not very welcoming, this was a shame as we went 3 nights on the run to enjoy a family meal.only

We were unfamiliar with what a "carvery" was, but the waitress kindly explained the process to us. The food was delicious, with a nice variety of side dishes from which to choose. I don't believe I have ever eaten better roast turkey (and I've been roasting them for Thanksgiving for half a century). The restaurant was short-staffed the night we... More

If you want a cheap but filling breakfast this is the place to eat. I have never had Yorkshire pudding filled with bacon & onions with Gravy for breakfast before. The usual bacon, eggs, sausage etc are buffet & help yourself toast & jams. Great value. One price for un imted coffee. Fill yourself up, if you go to Legoland it... More

meeting for ride outs on our motorcycle can be difficult if there are a number of us but this has always been a good choice with easy access to the M4/M25. The food is inexpensive and plentiful and the staff leave you to your own devices which is helpful :)
