Heard about this place from a friend and thought would try it out. Quite away from the town centre, located next to a supermarket..seems a bit like a randoom location! Best part is they are multi cuisine, serving - Thai Malay and Chinese. Starters were quite good, main course was rich in flavor and plenty. recommend: Malaysian Chicken Curry, Coriander... More

Hertfordshire is a bit of a desert for good vegetarian food, so this place is a real find! We decided to visit this restaurant because of the good reviews on TA and the on-line menu showed a veggie set meal. It was already filling up when we arrived at 7.15 so glad we had booked. The staff were very friendly... More

We live locally and use this restaurant for nights out and takeaways. The food here is some of the best we have eaten anywhere. It's like a cross between a chinese and Thai. The owners are lovely. The restaurant is in a small parade of shops on the outskirts of the town. If it was in the town it would... More

This is probably our 4th visit here but I have never reviewed before... We arrived at about 18:40 on a Saturday evening and there was maybe three tables already taken, the waitress made a big fuss about the fact that we hadn't booked and proceeded to check a huge diary, we were given a table though, to be fair by... We tried this restaurant for the first time last night. We got a takeaway so I can't comment on the restaurant itself (although my husband said it looked nice). The food was amazing, quite possibly the best takeaway I've ever had. I can't remember the names of the dishes, but we had a slow cooked lamb curry, which almost melted... More

I thought we were popping in to Hakalok to order a take-away, but my husband decided we should nab the last available table. For a restaurant next to a supermarket in a short parade of shops, away from the main town in WGC, this place is amazingly popular. There has to be a reason why people keep coming back and... More

Just kidding, did it get your attention? Anyhoo, the restaurant didn't have to fight to get my attention. I was on a nostalgic visit to WGC with my beautiful companion and felt like something different to eat. A quick scrutiny of TA brought this place up and although it is out of the town centre, I know the area and... More

This Malaysian restaurant is hidden away in a local shopping centre in Welwyn Garden City. The menu is rather mixed, having Malay, Chinese, Thai and Indonesian dishes. I'm not too sure how authentic it is - I don't think nasi goreng has pineapple in it. Anyway, the dishes that I chose (steamed dumplings and a rendang curry) were both very... More

Enjoyed the set menu with some extras. Friendly service but waited a little while for extra glasses and water. Looking forward to trying the ret of the menu.
