We were lucky enough to have some Manchester Confidential vouchers for Earle at a much reduced cost to the menu prices. As it's local we strolled down one evening. Food was great. Atmosphere easy very pleasant. The staff were well aware of the voucher scheme (I guess they get a lot if them) and we're quite happy to explain properly... More

Came for Sunday lunch with my friend and wow, were we blown away. We did the two course lunch menu, started with a terrine and I then went onto roast beef. The dish came with a huge , tons of lovely medium rare beef slices and a huge offering of different vegetables. I must admit I was expecting the portion... More

Simon rimmer's restaurant never fails to deliver with imaginative dishes, well presented and delicious to taste. Pity they have taken their own veggi sausages with onion gravy off the menu at our time of visit but still fantastic food and great service

I recently ate in the Earle In Hale and I must compliment it as one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The ambience in the restaurant was also excellent. If I had a complaint it was being asked several times how I was enjoying my meal but no matter the overall experience was excellent and... More

We booked a Table at Earl as we were in the North West for The Grand National and we were looking for a Restaurant we we could break our Journey as we returned to the Midlands. Found the staff attentive, good humoured and polite. 'Earl' enjoys is a welcoming atmosphere and the food presented to us was of the highest... More

This restaurant was buzzing on a Saturday night in Hale. We were looked after very well (perhaps too well with 3 people asking us if our starters were OK - but better to be asked too often than not at all). The starter selection was good although the mains were a bit pub grub - fish and chips, burger and... More

Myself and a friend decided to have a change today and drove to Hale, and although we hadn't booked decided to try Earle anyway. I am so glad we did as it really did tick all the boxes. The staff were most attentive without being too intrusive, setting lovely, and the food was delicious, light and full of flavour. I... More

My husband booked this whilst we were on a trip to Manchester. We are both Fans of Sunday brunch and simon rimmer, so we were both looking forward to this. We were not let down. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more attentive, they got the balance between asking if everything was alright and not... More

I took my partner to Earle for a meal for his birthday in January. We had a lovely evening, with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. We went around burns night and the specials were themed which we thought was a really nice touch. The food was really delicious, good sized portions and not too badly priced (no more than... More

Starters very good indeed, one halloumi and one lamb left us waiting in anticipation for the main courses. Pork belly was good but the cod didn't quite deliver on the taste front. Nice wine but no choice port, only one available for the cheese course ?? The restaurant unfortunately let itself down on the service front. The team did and... More
