We went last night for the evening with Simon Rimmer event. We haven't been for a few months as there are so many good restaurants in the area. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent (4 courses for £40) good ambiance and friendly helpful staff. The man himself was in the kitchen and came out to say hello to... More

Came here with the family for my aunt's 60th and there was nothing other the fantastic service, along with amazing food which sent your taste buds into a new dimension. Could do with turning some AC on downstairs as it gets quite warm.

We walked in midweek at about 9 o'clock. We had to order quickly as the kitchen wasn't going to be open for much longer. The staff were polite, courteous, relaxed, and even funny. There's a nice atmosphere to the place. A bit pricey but you'd expect that in Hale, and from a well known chef. The wine was nice, and... More

I have eaten here on a few occasions and my previous reviews have always been complimentary but there was something lacking this time. A friend and I had been out shopping for the day and booked for an early bird meal at Earle before driving home. When we arrived, I found the young maitre d' a little patronising to say... More

We came here with some old friends who live within a 15 minute walk of Earle, so very convenient, and we had a very enjoyable evening. The food is quite expensive but it is good, and beautifully presented. Our starters - whitebait, salmon fishcake and confit duck salad were all good. For mains the lamb rack with potato gnocchi and... More

My husband booked here as a surprise for my 30th birthday after wanting to come for ages and watching Sunday Brunch most weekends! The food was gorgeous, I had the salmon fish cake to start, and Seabass with chritzo bean broth as main, both were delicious. My husband the duck salad, and burger with chritzo hash for mains. Again, very... More

My niece and I have been dying to go to one of Simon Rimmer's nights but waited until we really liked the sound of every course. We weren't disappointed - at £40 per head it was well worth it. We were both driving so only had a glass of peach prosecco which was yummy but at £8.50 a glass it... More

We went today for Sunday lunch and had a lovely meal. We have eaten there on several occasions with family - as this restaurant is child friendly but this was the first time as a couple. I booked on line and were lucky to be allocated a window table. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very efficient. The starters were... More

Nice restaurant in the oppulant town of Hale. We had booked and upon entering were greeted straight away by a friendly chap Salvatore. We sat at the bar and enjoyed two glasses of wine whilst looking at the menu. There were two floor staff on duty in total and there must have been 30 - 40 diners in and from... More
