Staying at the Premier Inn as we were flying out of Manchester in the morning, decided to venture out for something to eat. Found Cherry Tree via TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed. Service was very attentive and friendly and loved the food. Recommend to anyone who wants an alternative to the airport hotels.

This was the first restaurant I took my girlfriend to in 1989 and I took her back in 2015 and as I remembered the food was decent, well presented, they were friendly and keen to help. Overall it's a decent little restaurant for a mid week meal. At about £15 a head

Just been for a meal in this restaurant. It was very busy but the service was excellent. Food was even better. The staff were fantastic. A very pleasant experience all round will be going back again very soon.

Always friendly, great food, no need to go to China Town, great atmosphere. Takeaway quality is excellent, comes home and tastes as good as eating in. When busy though service may be slow but to be expected for a small family run business. Worth any wait and good to make a night of it if you so wished. Ample parking... More

Ate here while staying at the Marriott Hotel just down the street. It is a small, traditionally decorated Chinese restaurant with an extensive menu of non standard dishes. I had an excellent soup followed by chicken in orange sauce and was impressed. Service was very attentive and judging from the number of locals stopping by for take away, a very... More

As an alternative to bar food this really was a great find with helpful staff and great chinese food. No wonder that even during the week it was more than a little busy...simply excellent and so very attentive...certainly a major change from many not so authentic locations

We ate here the night before flying to Spain so it was midweek and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive but not 'in your face'. We had a lovely meal, the spring rolls were delicious! Would go again if we were in the area.

Amazing food, service. The food here is better than any food found in London's china town. Well worth a visit.
