We stopped for lunch and it was very tasty. My wife had the duck and I took the chicken curry. Both dishes were excellent. Stuff was very friendly. I can only recommend this restaurant to everybody.

A purely by chance stop on a trip round Deeside. All we required was a coffee and perhaps a scone or a biscuit, nothing was too much trouble, served by a very nice Lady, just two very nice coffees served in the sunshine on a lovely area of decking, facing the afternoon sun sheltered and very nice.Deserves to be known throughout the region.Going back shortly... Outstanding meal. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Decor is tartan! We were in a party of 4 and we all had a lovely meal. Set price for 2/3 courses. You pay extra for the steak and tea/coffee. Salmon with crayfish linguine recommended. We will most certainly be back.

Dined for the first time here on a recommendation and not disappointed. Refurbished hotel and restaurant run personally by a couple. Excellent Scottish fare all sourced locally with interesting descriptions of the farms/businesses supplying the food. Very good wine list, cleverly constructed with a good choice of wines in differing price categories. The dining room is dark with tartan wallpaper... More

We found ourselves at the Loch Kinord Hotel Restaurant one evening because our first option had unexpectedly closed due to staff issues and we had to find plan B. I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I was a little concerned with our first impression. We arrived around 6:30 and no one was... More

We ate here for three nights on the run and the food was consistantly excellent and well presented. Locally sourced produce is perfectly cooked and well presented and service can't be faulted. Well done.

Stayed here for the weekend. The food was exceptional. Had 2 meals and both were wonderful. Loved the lamb with red cabbage and black pudding mash followed by sticky toffee pudding. Yummy. My husband had cheeseboard with 6 different local cheeses. Next night I tried breast of duck followed by cranberry creme brûlée . Also delicious. Well worth a visit... More

My wife and I have been here more than once. The hotel is an old established Deeside landmark. The menu is varied and the standard of food is high. We felt it just a touch on the expensive side for the portions - but this place will not let you down.
