Service is slow, and unless you enjoy wasting your time in bland, unappealing surroundings, waiting for bland, unexceptional food, I do not recommend this place. I don't remember what I ate, the food was decent but not particularly exciting, however I vividly remember waiting forever. The one redeeming feature is the Monday night discount. Still, Monday or not, I never... More

This is my second time trying this restaurant, and both times have not disappointed. We ordered the peking duck starter both times and the duck is crispy, delicious, and perfect to wrap in the Chinese spring roll wrappers. The crispy beef is also very good, as are the prawns with cashews. Would definitely recommend as a takeaway spot in Bedford.

Friendly, good service and food, also offer a good take away service! Good selection of vegetarian food especially like the bean curd with ginger and spring onion.

Last night we had a take away. I will only have a take away as we ate in on New Years Eve and were ignored by the owner and staff and decided the food was worth eating but not going out for. That view has sadly taken a turn for the worst. My sons sweet and sour sauce was swimming... More

Went here for a birthday celebration with five others. Food was good, we enjoyed the evening - nothing spectacular - nothing bad - one of those everything was fine evenings. It was better than I thought considering the reviews. I hadn't been here for probably 6-7 years. It was always the strong hold for Chinese in Bedford with very little... More

Went in after seeing the Christmas fireworks for a quick meal.. Lovely wan tan soup and dumplings.. The sauce for the dumplings tasted weird.. The prawn in butter ginger and crisp noodles were good.. Definitely will recommend

An excellent meal both tasty and freshly cooked. Perfectly cooked prawns in ginger and spring onion and chicken with black bean sauce that was not overpowered by the sauce. Crispy duck was crispy, not overcooked and with a nicely balanced plum sauce. Prices seemed competitive with other local chinese restaurants. Contrary to other reviews of this restaurant the service was... More

I have been frequenting the owners restaurants for about 30 years now. You wouldn't know it. New or old customers, he doesn't care about you. Which is strange for a restaurant that has clearly been affected by the advent of all you can eat restaurants. He used to be friendly, but now clearly can't be bothered. The curtains are at... More

Came here for a nice meal on a Saturday night but was very disappointed. We were crammed in at the front near the window, I suppose to make it look busy to people looking in. There was no atmosphere at all for a Saturday night. The food was okay but overpriced. The waitress was not very good didn't really seem... More

Visited on October 3rd at a charity event for Axis Electronics and their extra mile cycle challenge. Food is fantastic, atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the ambiance is perfect. Well done to the team and we will visit again
