We went in there today for a quick bite before walking around Grafham Water. The pub's staff are very friendly - especially with my toddler grandson who was given toys to play with. The decor is a bit odd -orange and blue paintwork! -and the loos could do with a refurbish -but the food we had was lovely. We had... More

Had a nice Christmas Eve dinner at the pub in 2014. We were very fortunate as the owners were not sure if they would open for food however they did! There were 6 of us at the table which was made up especially for us in the dining area. A nice girl named Lauren was our server and she was... More

I called in for a coffee before a business meeting and despite not really being open, they were very friendly and made me a coffee anyway. I called back for lunch after my meeting. Cheese and ham sandwich and chips was excellent with some salad and a ginger beer. Nice place, friendly staff and not expensive.

Had a lovely meal, as always. Members of the party had eaten here a couple of years ago and were not too impressed, but completely changed there view on this visit. Lovely menu catering for all tastes. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Becoming on of my favourite places to eat.

Went to visit the tavern after a long break. Wasn't as busy as I remember. Bloke who took my booking over the phone anthing but inviting. However all food on the night was very nice, so excellent value. Still a lovely friendly pub / diner who try hard. Good wine list also. Will to returning soon :-)

We turned up out of the blue last Saturday night with two kids in tow (aged 6 & 9), first ones through the door and the staff were great! Food was good (pizza's and fish and chips), Doom Bar on tap and good humour from all! Cheers

Great Staughton is not the prettiest of villages but the Snooty Tavern makes a visit there worthwhile. This pub is an unexpected gem in an unlikely spot and definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. The welcome is always warm and the food is always beautifully cooked. I planned to write this review in praise of the scallops... More

The restaurant at this local pub was recommended to us by a friend, so we gave it a try with high expectations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Only one other table in the dining area was occupied, so there was no atmosphere, and we could not help having to suffer listening to the conversation pf our fellow diners the whole... More
