An unpretrentious restaurant, small and homely in feel. It's very popular with those who have discovered it, the portions being generous and offering excellent value for money. While the menu is long for a place of this size the food seems to be assembled to order, tasting fresh and with good service even for a party of a dozen (about... More

I came to this restaurant with a friend and it was an all round excellent restaurant. Delicious food, Service was second to none. The girls really looked after us. I will be returning with my boyfriend, if I can get a table they are always fully booked! I need to ring earlier to get a table! It's a shame it... More

First time I was celebrating my birthday in my home town in 30 years & was looking for Italian, somewhere nice & relaxed. Asked around & Cappuccino was recommended. We looked online, liked the menu & made a reservation - it was for a Saturday evening & were pleased we did so: the place was very full, with a large... More

If food, then yes, it was a lovely place for five friends to sit and reminisce about life and adventure. Service was prompt, appropriate. The flavours were well blended and the portions felt like they were coming from mum's kitchen! Most generous. Not difficult on the wallet at all! If decor, then walk on by, it felt crowded and claustrophobic.

Alex and his team do a great job. Accommodating you the best they can. The place is always busy. The chef is willing to adapt things for you. I absolutely love the place. a good little find just tucked away a little way off the high street.

A hidden gem of an Italian Restaurant. A slice of Italy inside. Plants and vines winding up and across beams/struts. Small but homely inside. Only disappointment was we couldn't get the bill as it was busy.

Have been several times and never disappoints. Although it's tight for space the guys are so lovely, food piping hot, great variety on the menu. Great value

The Capuccino bar is always full and you need to book ahead especially in the evening because the mix of great value really delicious food and substantial portions with warm and friendly service is a winner. We go back time and again and has never had one cause for complaint. Highly recommended. Great for the family or a friends night... More

Went with husband who lived in Italy for a number of years so expectation of italian food is high, not unrealistic, but high. I was pleasantly surprised, good food, good service, good price, nothing at all to complain about. Husband wouldn't return though, although not expensive he believes you can get better quality, his pizza was his main problem, a... More
