Great all round experience

Went on a Thursday evening with a group of friends. Service was attentive and professional. The food was lovely, with some more unusual dishes on the menu. Very tasty, well served and relaxed comfortable surroundings. Thank you.

Walked in on off chance, 8pm Thursday21st May. Place not busy and got a table straight away. Ordered drinks and ordered portion of mixed starters which was substantial for two nevermind just for one. It was excellent. Both main meals - balti and karai were well cooked, presented and tasted really good. We agree that the service was attentive, but... More

Nearby as staying at Abbey Guest house and checked online reviews which were generally ok Felt that they could have given us more choice than 2 pickles with popaddoms and the service seemed rather slow. The food was lovely though when it arrived. Would visit again

The service is friendly and attentive bur not obtrusive. The food is always excellent esp. the seafood dishes. Rafiks happy hour on Thursdays is exceptional value!

I have been to this restaurant many times and always an excellent meal. Unfortunately for me I recommended this to my work colleagues. We booked a set menu for 38 people, many of the people travelled from outside the city. The service was atrocious,we waited 30 mins for poppadoms, one table had no plates when the food finally arrived, the... More

I visited when I was not very hungry but needed something to keep me going. Rather than go for a main course I asked to try several starters which was not a problem. Prompt and efficient service with a smile and top quality food with a lovely spice balance. I am looking forward to visiting when I am truly hungry.... More

Another trip to Rafiks with family. Parents, sister and hyper-active nephews. As ever food was excellent - wanted something hot this time so the scallops and fish were off the menu today but try them they are really very, very good. The owners know our family very well - parents are regulars - as my father is a coeliac knowing... More
