I've been here twice now, first time it was a different menu, would have been five stars if this menu was still there but they seem to have taken quite a few things off the menu. So four stars due to them taking away some really scrummy meals :( Staff have always been polite and friendly, food is delicious, prices... More

Found this place from a mix of trip advisor and walking around the city centre looking for somewhere for dinner during a walking weekend in The Lakes. The setting is very unique in a dining room above the traditional pub downstairs. At first it was very quiet but the restaurant soon busied up. A great menus full of amazing Thai... More

Great food. Black bean tiger prawn, a lovely spicy jungle curry and a chili and mint lamb dish. Great cocktails, very good service and a pleasant building. Botchergate is not the best of roads, but if you're willing to run the gauntlet, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

A bit of an oddity advertised as a Malay & Thai restaurant but with Singaporean & Vietnamese on the menu too. However, the food we chose was very good although I could eat spicier (not the restaurants fault) The restaurant is upstairs above a pub and has very interesting architecture, a pity its on one of Carlisle's grubbier streets but... This was not as good as the reviews state . Very average food in pub surroundings served by non Thai waitresses . As far from a Thai as you can get .

We recently revisited this restaurant as we were dining on a Wednesday and not a Monday when it is closed. I'm pleased to say we were given a lovely welcome, and the food was excellent as we have had previously, so we will be returning. A varied menu at a reasonable price which is good value.

This restaurant is upstairs in an old pub...seating arrangements in the corner where you sit side by side at a table for two is a bit bizarre but the food more than makes up for that. The young waitress was polite and courteous and the waiter who took our order was extremely knowledgeable about what few things I could not... More

With Colleagues on a very quiet night, the food I had was very nice (Massaman curry) and the Chicken Satay. I must admit to clearing all plates and I would recommend this Thai although if you are on the other side of the road looking for it, it's behind the bus shelter!
