chicken satay starter very good, all the food tasted very fresh with authentic thai flavours.not too expensive worth a visit.
Went here for a birthday meal with my friends and the service was lovely and the food just as good! Authentic thai cuisine!
Read the reviews on this place and decided to try it. The restaurant is in a 1930s listed building. The walls are covered in Japanese oak panels and is quite delightful. There is no need to make the place feel Thai or Malaysian just enjoy the surroundings. I personally would remove the attempts at trying to make it feel oriental,... More
I've been here a couple of times before and I let the average service slip because I assumed it was just a blip and the food was very nice. I'm starting to think that poor attention to service here is just standard. I took a friend here at the weekend hoping all would be great. It wasn't. We asked for... More
Decided to give it a try based on overall reviews on trip advisor and the tapas idea, perfect for the boyf whos not tried much thai food. On arrival, quirkly little place, old pub which has thai touches, lovely table for two, friendly welcome, ordered drinks, boyf trusted me to do the ordering so, tom yum goong, (spicy prawn soup)... Simply fantastic! I asked for a nice spicy and sour vegetable soup. No problem! The other tapas that I had on their early bird menu were simply delicious. Always impressed with this place and that's why I go every month when I visit Carlisle on business. Watch out for Voyteck, and his boss Sharon. They really take time out to... More
Arrived on time ordered drinks half hour later we received them one hour later we got our starters then waited three quaters of hour for main meal the food was good but overall we will not be going back
Great food, very friendly staff and not expensive. Really nice cocktails too. Staff always interested in the customers and explain dishes.
Went here after reading the tripadvisor reviews. Service was good but disappointed with food and surroundings ( looked like what it was - an old tired pub with a few oriental hangings on the walls ) We had mixed starter - OK but nothing special, 2x sauces were dull particularly the satay, jungle curry (oily and lacking flavour and richness)... This is a clever little spot, there's nowhere else like this nearby. It's got a mixture of thai and Indonesian, and there's a great little happy hour tapas option that's available. Quite authentic, tasty and spicy with fabulous flavour combinations. The service is fantastic here, we've been a handful of times but you're treated like you're a regular and they... More
