As a regular myself and partner visit at least once a month. On this occasion we decided to take a friend as a thank you, all our meals were made to suit, and were brilliant and just what we wanted. Our friend had an excellent meal and was very pleased with the service so much so, that before we had... More

The owner/chef is very passionate about his food and is very knowledgeable. Two of us went on a Monday night so it was very quiet. When we ordered, Mr Bari made suggestions we hadn't considered before. I usually have lamb tikka as it's less likely to be fatty and I always have peas pilau rice. I was persuaded to try... More

Visited here with a group of 20 friends, some of us regulars, some of us had never been before. Considering there was so many of us everything from the service to the food was excellent. Bari caters for everyones different tastes wether it be 1st timers not sure how spicy dishes are, or regulars wanting something extra. He will cook... More

Went last night with 5 friends, table was booked well in advance, on top of that the 24 hour leg of lamb had been specifically asked for 2 days in advance in person by one of our party, he had been assured that there would be enough for the 6 people in the party, on arrival we were crammed onto... Before I come to the main part of this review I'd just like to say that I've had the pleasure of dining at the whole gamut of eateries, from the greasy spoon transport cafe to a number of Michelin starred restaurants and I have had fantastic meals at both ends of the spectrum. I'm not comparing this restaurant to either... More

Where to start on such an awful trip to this restaurant. We ordered the £80 24 hour lamb leg (for 4 people) 3 days before our visit and were assured provisions would be made as there would be 6 of us on the night. We were sat at a table barely big enough to fit 4 people let alone 6... More

Having heard great things about the "24 hour" lamb, my friend made enquiries as to whether it would be available for six of us, on a saturday night, and was assured. We booked a week or two in advance. On the Wednesday night prior, he visited the restaurant in person to confirm that this would be OK, and was assured... More

We were passing through Carlisle and was given a tip by a local when I asked is there was any decent Indian restaurants about. Anyways, we found the place and were surprised at the varied menu, especially the exotic meats. Our starters of prawn chilli fry and the mixed tandoori meats were absolutely delicious. I ordered goat sathkori as my... More
