We have visited this restaurant a few times and have never felt totally satisfied. Following a visit by friends who praised the roast chicken breast on garlic mash we decided to give it a try. On being show to our table I was disappointed to see the mess of broken biscuits under the table and as we were early dinners... More

My wife and I visited KEEZ Bistro last night and were unsure what to expect as our last visit to the same location when it was under a different name many years ago was nothing to write home about. This time around we were more than happy to find ourselves very pleasantly surprised with both the food and prices. Getting... More

We regularly visit this restaurant but Iain the Chef, and owner, never fails to come up with exciting and interesting ideas. Last week we had a great night out and I thought the food was terrific. The starters sounded so good I couldn't decide so had two ( instead of a starter and Main course). I had Beetroot tart and... More

We had a very enjoyable meal with our party of 10 who had just complete the walk along Hadrian's Wall from the east. The staff were very helpful and the chef was very ready to accommodate one of our number who is gluten intolerant. The food was excellent with a lot of menu diversity - I loved the wild pigeon!... After our visit on the 31/5/2014 Keez will be another place to add to our regular list of Saturday night dinning. The food was delicious and the portions were generous served by very friendly and professional staff. The fish dish and the sirloin steak along with the desserts of coconut and lime cheesecake and gooseberry crumble were fabulous. We will be back soon.

Called with some friends the other night. have not been to this restaurant for some time. We all found the portions of food very small and standard of food not up to scratch. Will not be back.

We had the 3 courses for £22 and all of it was well cooked and tasty. Had the goats cheese to start followed by the pork belly - I thought the portion was a bit small but the flavours were good.Finished with a very tasty cheeseboard. Service from Chloe was excellent.

Having stopped and looked at the menu many times and commenting how good it sounded we eventually booked and are so glad we did. We had an early table so were the first ones in but it had a warm and cosy feel. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the waitress couldn't have been friendlier. The food was... A family party of fourteen had an excellent meal. Five children, ranging from aged 14 down to 7 years of age...and 9 adults. All choices were really tasty and beautifully presented. The service could not be faulted and of excellent value. We would strongly recommend that you try this bistro soon.

I visited Keez on Valentine's day for the first time in quite a while. Just as I'd hoped the good was excellent, I had red snapper to start, Guinea fowl for main course and a treacle tart with custard for dessert. All three courses were excellent, well presented and tasted beautiful, and for just £22. I would definitely recommend giving... More
