The smell that comes from this shop has the effect of some kind of Disney film when someone leaves a pie on a window ledge and the smell snakes over into a passerbys nostrils and pulls them in. I regularly walk by and have drool dropping out of my mouth like a hungry Labrador. The service is... read more

The chips were cold and it is very over priced not worth the hassle if you ask me, looks nice on the outside but the inside is different

Everything is good, staff always obliging with the salt shaker from the take away counter, have been upstairs, downstairs with family and friends, always cooked to perfection, always like to leave an empty plate, highly recomended if you want the best chippy tea

Friendly greeting on arrival and departure. Ordered fish and chips and pot of tea for 2. The tea was brought immediately and was a good cuppa. Didn't wait long for our freshly cooked fish and chips which were so delicious. Don't know when I have enjoyed fish and chips as much as I did today. Would recommend to all to... More

Best chips I've had in years, can also recommend the steak pie and gravy. Price maybe not as competitive as some pub chain deals but the quality of the food is worth every penny.

Went in on Saturday at about 10 to 12. Got seated straight away downstairs, but there was queues to get seated just after we went in. This was my first time eating here and I wondered why anyone would queue for fish and chips, however on tasting the freshly cooked fish and chips I can see why. Got small fish... More
