Although the menu is small, the food is outstanding. The burger is one of the best I've ever tasted and love the selection of pies. Well worth a visit.

We have been using the sidings since it has re opened and can honestly say it the best pub food i have ever eaten .As a chef myself i am better placed than most people to comment on the food ,the people who say you can eat cheaper at other pubs in Brinsworth are right but as the saying goes... I went to The Sidings with my two children. There was a good choice of food and it tasted lovely. Parking available.

If you were judging The Sidings by its exterior, you'd drive on by. We only went after a glowing review in a local paper. Inside, it still looks a bit dreary, but the food! Have been twice now, once at lunchtime, once in the evening, and the food is amazing. Freshly cooked, local ingredients, and a menu which is so... More

Sunday lunch served for 7.95 with choice of 2 meats and veg, yorkshires and gravey all fresh and homemade. Will return, good food value for money without the microwave rubbish chain pubs seem to serve these days give it a whirl you won't be dissapointed!

We have eaten here few times and always had fantastic food. Today we had our Fisrt Sunday lunch here, what can I say, it was as good as you could ask for, better than my mums, hope she doesn't read this. It was very busy but the staff were very organised and coped well, and the food came quite quickly... More

Went for a birthday lunch with work colleagues. Great choice of drinks and warm welcome from staff. All ordered something different and everyone was very pleased with quality of food, All individually cooked and fresh - more like restaurant quality. Great chips! Shame not more people eating, but makes a great change from the usual pub grub.

I have been to The Sidings about 5 times now and am yet to be disappointed. The food was very good especially the sea bass. The food takes a while sometimes, but when it is all home made and cooked to order you do expect to wait. Will definately go again. Already booked for a birthday meal in March.

Stopped at this pub whilst on a long journey and was not dissappointed. Great value, local produce, delicious meals with a yorkshire heritage. Can thoroughly recommend the fish and chips! Would have definately got a 5 if it had been in a more scenic location and slightly better atmosphere as it was early lunchtime.

We went there after seeing previous reviews on trip advisors. We weren't disappointed. It was beautiful english homemade food. The pub was comfortable and nicely decorated with interesting train pictures hung. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is sourced locally which added to the quality. Would definately recommend. A warning would be that they are very generous... More
