I went to the Sandygate with a friend for lunch on a Monday after hearing them on the local radio advertising their new menu. If you like dog food then you will be right at home in this dingy run down horrible excuse for a restaurant. You don't need to take a doggy bag they actually feed you it whilst your there. I have had better meals at a greasy spoon cafe, in fact the homeless soup kitchen is far superior than this place.... More

I have eaten there a few times over the last few months and have got to say the staff and management couldn't have be more helpful or attentive and have gone out of there way to make sure our experience there has been nothing... Visited the restaurant during the week , not particularly busy but it was early evening, the service was attentive, the menu was interesting, albeit an odd provision missing a preferred dish the selected fayre was well presented with ample portions, and a usual criticism of mine in other food emporiums not in this instance was that the plates that the... We visited on 20 September 2012 and the food was absolutely georgeous at very reasonable prices. Perfectly cooked chicken in a delicious sauce, with oodles of tasty vegetables and potatoes. The staff treated us like royalty and could not do enough for us. Thank you all.
