went for Sunday lunch for my son's 18th birthday which also fell on Father's Day. We had our Civil Partnership meal here a few years ago and Jane and her fantastic team always offer a 1st class menu from excellent local ingredients (where possible) all at reasonable prices....you get what you pay for! Can't fault anything once again.

Group of 8 visited the Barley Mow for a girlie get together. As always we had some lovely food from both menus "tea for less" and "a la carte" Staff and managment were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a lovely time and we're well fed and watered. Whilst I was there I had... More

This Pub was recommended by a neighbour a few weeks ago. So we had something to celebrate and it was our first choice of venue. We cannot say enough about the excellence of the staff and the food was probably one of the best meals we have ever eaten. As for cleanliness the whole building inside and out was spotless..... As always looking forward to a trip to the Barley Mow, the 8 miles drive seems to take forever. Mixed choice of starters: bruschetta for the birthday girl, pâté for her sister and 2 shared whitebait for the elders. All were excellent and nothing was left. Main courses were (pink) beef for 3, belly pork, sausages and shank of lamb.... More
