I've visited the Barley Mow on numerous occasions over the past 3 years, the last time being mid August. Every meal I have ever had there has been excellent! It is my favourite restaurant to eat at. Staff are always friendly, the service is great and the food outstanding. Make sure you reserve a table as they get booked up... More

Have been here quite a few times with the family and this time didn't disappoint either. The food was excellent and plenty of it and staff are always really friendly. This is Mom and Dad's favourite place and pity it's not in Birmingham. Well done again to all the staff. Will be back there soon with my partner next month.

While on holiday near Skegness, The Barley Mow was recommended as a nice place to go and eat, and we were not disappointed at all. The food was absolutely gorgeous and plenty of it too. The steak and ale pie was tasty and definitely homemade and came with hand cut chips and lots of fresh vegetables including broccoli, carrots, green... More

My brother lives in France and misses his Sunday lunches, so when he came on a visit, the Barley Mow was a must! The personnel are always friendly and efficient but never obtrusive. I'm told the beer was good - from a local brewery - and the wine was certainly better than a lot of pub beers. The menu is... More

Wanted somewhere nice to celebrate our anniversary and chose here. Read the other reviews and thought we'd give it a try. We were asked to sit in the bar area and given menus , staff took our order and within 5 minutes were taken to our table. Our starters came out more or less straight away. The presentation was beautifully... More
