Called in on Wednesday 29/7/15, ordered a carvery (2 adults, 2 children) we were not disappointed it was absolutely beautiful. Jamie, one of the bar/waiters was lovely and his customer service was 10/10 if not more!! He made us feel so welcome as it was just a one off as we were on our hols for the week. Would recommend... Due to poor health,I stopped driving to Skeggy (2-3 hour drive depending upon how many tractors encountered between Boston and Skeggy). I recently got to know someone who goes often, and sometimes has a spare seat.On 12 August I was whisked off to Skeggy for the first time in about 4 years.A mixed band of travellers.Me the eldest, approaching my 3score... We went here because someone recommended it. They must really hate us! All looked well when we went in. The roasts downstairs looked good, but the carver suggested we use the upstairs restaurant as there was more space up there and there was a carvery as well, suggesting it was better. We went upstairs and there were plenty of tables... More

First meal of our stay, and have to say very pleased with this restaurant. We had the standard carvery which outfaced my partner, and I only just cleared the plate. The meat was cut like doorsteps, so no scimping here. The quality was also very good, and would recommend to anyone, whether for the carvery or from the menu.
