Never fails to impress

Ordered a take away for the family a mix of different starters and main courses. It arrived quickly and was still really hot, all the dishes were amazing and as usual could not fault any of the food. By far the best Indian restaurant and takeaway in Skegness.

Been to the shaffon before fantastic meal but on this occasion decided to give The Gandhi a try . Nice settings but apart from the surrounding I am sorry to say it was a mistake coming here . The food is very bland service was OK at best . Give this place a miss .

Went there first time ever, normally always eat at bollywood, staff was little slow and grumpy but food was delicious with good portion sizes. Restaurant was busy but didn't wait long for food. Only thing wasn't keen on was there was 6 of us and 4 of us ordered naan breads and they was all put on same plate and... More

Thank you for your great review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the meal. Due to the shortage of space on the table after bringing the food over, we had the naans on the same plate. We can always keep them seperate on request - ie: not have keema naans and in contact with non-meat naans for vegetarians.... More

Enjoyed a really good curry this evening in Skegness. Service was top notch with a very attentive waiter who is the son of the owner. Owner was present and engaged to ensure all was going well in the dining room. Vindaloo a nice spicy zing. Not for the casual curry crowd. Korma was much more delicate. Tarka dhaal was very... More

On entering the Gandhi you are met by the wonderful smell of the food. The staff are so friendly and helpful while taking your order. As they were fairly busy we did have a bit of a wait for our food but we had a drink while we waited. Once home with our food the smell was wonderful. Every item... More

Having used this restaurant on a numerous occasions whilst in Skegness, may I say they never disappoint. Only quibble would be to say their positions are far in excessive for a single portion. Service great, clean establishment and waiters very pleasant.

We went to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary meal. Pleasant surroundings inside and not very busy, only 3 other groups waiting to eat/eating along with us. We ordered some poppadums and a drink and a waiter took our order. We were chatting away and we then realised it had been 50 minutes since our order had been taken and... More

Hi. Our Korai wok dishes come out hot as they do in most Indian restaurants. We do warn you to be careful with the black dish as we put it on the table. We cannot bare responsibility if a customer does not wait for the curry to cool down slightly before taking a mouthful. I'Hope he's feeling better. As for... More
