We were a party of 4 and everyone was happy with the main courses all cooked to perfection, especially the steaks. Desserts were all lovely too, so no complaints on the food. Only thing I would say is that... More

Booked a table for 4 and the complete evening was very enjoyable. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A good choice of food, early bird and specials. The Whitby dressed crab salad was a winner with 3 of us and our 4th choice was the sea bass - all excellent. Good choice of puddings - the sticky toffee was... More

Stayed near Wakefield for a few nights so instead of eating at our hotel (The Holiday Inn ) we thought we'd check out trip advisor and support local restaurants. The reviews looked good so we went along for happy hour (6 - 7) We ordered from the specials menu. We each had chicken liver and mushroom pate` starters, one steak... More

Traditional food but also has those specials that make it interesting, early bird all day Monday makes it great value to. The food is cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is perfect for a family get together or just the 2 of us for a special meal

a group of friends ate here to celebrate a birthday and whilst it wasnt cheap the food was of good quality and the service was good ,however there is no air conditioning (or it was,nt working) and being seated next to the cooking area on an already hot evening did not make for the most pleasant dining experience.
