Arrived at 14:00, the earliest we could check in. Met by a friendly lady. We asked if we could extend our check out time by 2 hours and she said that was fine as it was only her in the next day and she had plenty she could be getting on with. Gorgeous room, exceptionally clean, beautifully comfortable bed. Slept... More

Arrived here after five hour drive from Scotland. Met by a locked door and a small sign stuck to door with phone number to call if you want to check in. Finally we were met by unwelcoming gentleman who was surprised we had even managed to book as the place was closing for refurbishment. We felt like we were an... More

Someone from The hotel recommend. Meals were good and so was the location. The staff could have been better with service. Was treating the lads to a night out so it was OK for the price we paid. Not happy with the fact we had to wait for a taxi which we were told was called but other than that... More

Expecting a meal and then quiet night with my wife I found myself complaining about noise until after midnight by a group of guys who were blasting music, slamming doors and arguing in the corridor. The manager came up 4 times to tell them to be quiet then just gave up. Around 1am the group left the hotel, marking their... More

I eat out every week and usually have a curry but will never go back to the Aagrah at Wakefield again. Some of the staff are rubbish no interest and very lazy. The food is only average and the price does not reflect the experience. I would rather travel in future to Leeds Aagrah as I don't like spending money... More

I can honestly say this is the first poor review I have ever given a restaurant. Years ago when Aagrah opened it really was very good food and the service wasn't bad, but we visted last year and vowed we wouldn't be back as things had really gone down hill. However, it was my sons birthday last Saturday and he... More

We are house-hunting in the area so stayed here for a night and ate in the restaurant. Simply love the food, especially as there is a good choice of vegetarian curries and sides. I am more familiar with the Aagrah branches is Leeds and Selby but this is of the same standard and quiet on a Monday night. Made complete... More

Stayed here with my husband for 2 nights in December 2013. We were visiting friends. I hadn't really believed this when we booked, but it actually is an indian restaurant with rooms to let upstairs (I found this a bit tricky as I am disabled on crutches, and there is no lift). When we arrived our friends were waiting for... More
