I would have believed her but the fact that there were only 2 customers there! Went to the pub next door and after 30 minutes there were four people outside. Why then say no... More

I have visited this cafe frequently over the last 12 months of my maternity leave and up until my visit yesterday have always really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Yesterday however I was very disappointed with both the service and the food that was served. My vegetarian breakfast consisted of a pot of beans, 2 fried eggs and... More

Great place, great staff and a good menu choice. They didn't have available what I wanted but came up with an excellent alternative. The chunky chips were great Very comfortable and great atmosphere.

Lovely food, all homemade in a delightfull cosy atmosphere. All at a very reasonable price and always brought to your table with a smile. Do try the theme nights ,excellent food served with a twist on old favourites. This is so much more than just a cafe, you will not be dissapointed.

Very well presented but we have only ever been here for breakwarrr. The vegetarian one is my fave and the worse half prefers meat in her mouth, although she said it does not have quite enough beans on the breakfast. I wouldn't know, I do not eat beans. Eggs in order and a lovely amiable warm service is provided.

this tastefully decorated cosy cafe has it all.Delicious, locally sourced food at reasonable prices, perfect location for lunch or afternoon tea following a walk around beautiful Newmillerdam country park and an outside seating area. It is ideal for dog-walkers who can tether their pooches to the rings outside or bring them into the patio area. Clean water bowls are supplied... More

We visit newmillerdam quite regularly, but have the café over the road and the nearby pubs have never really appealed. Just as we were about to return to the car we noticed a small board pointing us in the direction of the cafe – it’s slighty out of view, just round the corner from the water, next to the Toby...
