We visited here on 16th August with a party of 23. The staff were very very accommodating for the 2 children and 1 lady we had on crutches. The staff are lovely and such a laugh, one of them made things to keep the children entertained. The food was lovely, not 1 single complaint!! Very good price for what you... More

I have visited a number of Italian restaurants in the Wakefield and Leeds area and this was right up there with the best of them. Very friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere but most important beautiful food. We will certainly be returning. Free parking opposite after 6pm and only 80p per hour before that for people who might be put off... More

First visit to Boccaccio on our way out to a gig so only had pizza lasagna and a bottle of wine food was very good and quality wine. Nice atmosphere with pianist, staff attentive without being overbearing had a nice chat with the owner/manager about the wine list and coffee he recommended a less expensive wine than the one we... We have lived in Wakefield for 6 years now and eat out a lot, this was our first visit here, don't know why. Went on spec early Sat night, was quiet when we got there, busy when we left. Service was very attentive, atmosphere very good once it filled up and the pianist started playing. We had three very generous... More

I go to Italian restaurants often and this is one of the best in Wakefield if not the best. Service is fab. The food is gorgeous and the wine menu is great. Lovely atmosphere, very relaxing.

Visited this restaurant Wednesday 11th June 2014, party of three. All had pasta dishes and a tomato and garlic pizza bread which we found to be dripping with oil. We spent over £50 and were all violently ill the next day! I contacted the restaurant the day after to speak to the manager and lodged a complaint online. I received... More

We visited on Saturday evening around 7.30pm without making a reservation. The staff were very courteous and showed us to a nice table by the window. The menu was quite varied with plenty of choice between Italian & English. a good wine list with a choice of 3 house wines. We chose the house white which when served was Pinot... More
