I had heard about Boccaccio so when we visited the Theatre we decided to give it a try. I had a really good steak. The staff knew we were on limited time and were very helpful in serving us quickly. There was a large party of ladies in and it seems a suitable place to take a large party.

This was our first visit and we would certainly return. We were on our way to the theatre in Wakefield and this restaurant is a couple of minutes walk away. The car park opposite is free after 6 pm. We were made to feel welcome and the service was excellent. The food was tasty and served promptly, although the place... More

Fillet steak is my all time fave, however I left half of it as there was no flavour what so ever, I asked for a peroni, they said they had the next best thing, which tasted metallic as it was out of date yet they still charged me 4 quid, dirty horrible cheap and nasty place, all those who give... Visited on NYE and although the restaurant was very busy there wasn't anything I could fault. They had decorated the whole dining area with helium balloons and there were crackers on every table which was a lovely touch. Service was speedy and very friendly from the waitress taking drinks orders to the waiter serving the food. Food was excellent, my... More

We went on Saturday night for a family meal. We were seated. There was a draft where we were sat and my sister sat with her coat on all night. The wine glasses on the table were all marked, we had to ask for clean ones. It doesn't look good sitting at a table with dirty glasses. The food took... More

Have just enjoyed a pleasant evening meal here. Alas one as on business here The restaurant is large and modern staff friendly and the thing that drew me in was the menu. It offered enough choice but did not go overboard attempting to offer hundreds of choice. I enjoyed the spicy meatball starter followed by a delicious chicken risotto. Cooked... More

This is the best Italian place I have been to. The food was spot on, the atmosphere is great with a piano player in the corner and the price isn't too steep. The staff were clearly very busy but they all handled the pressure well and were very inviting especially Oscar. Will return
