Clean and good food

Stopped here for lunch and was a welcome break from the chilly wind. Panini, burgers and the fish and chips were all freshly cooked and delicious. Well worth a visit although the teenage lads waiting on the tables need to learn to smile more!!!!

Really good fresh scones! This is a no-nonsense casual cafe that can get busy and noisy (and sandy!) but the cakes and drinks are always fresh and tasty. And it's in an unbeatable location right on the beach itself, looking out at the sea with big windows.

Enjoyed a large pot of tea and tasty cake. The rock cakes are massive! Main meals looked good but not cheap at £11 for fish and chips. Didn't eat a main so can't comment on those. Outside/beachside sitting area. Views over Sandbanks beach and back towards Bournemouth. It was clean and plenty of engaged staff employed. Small indoor play area... More

Visited the Café after a lovely walk along the beach , plenty of sunshine for this time of year and this was a welcome mid walk tea and cake stop . The chocolate cake was nice and tasty with a pot of coffee and tea which we thought was good value for money , so certainly worth a visit .

Thank you for taking the time to review our cafe. We make all our cakes on the premises on a daily basis and our scones come out of the oven warm, when we open in the morning. Maybe we can tempt you back to try one! More

Myself and my fiancé came here for some fish and chips, it's in a great location so thought it would be good. We could not get over how over priced it was considering it a self service Cafe, one portion of fish and chips was 11.00!!! We only ordered one as we thought it must be large portion... It was... We are obviously disappointed to read your comments. The fish we buy is fresh and this has an impact on the price we pay. We cook it fresh to order and through the week Monday to Friday we have an offer to buy one and get one half price. More

In the old days you struggled to get an ice cream on the beach at Sandbanks, now there' schism amazing cafe. The weather outside was cold and blowy as you would expect inFebruary. Open the cafe door and your enveloped by the warmth and a cheerful voice calls out 'Welcome'. What a place, selection of tables and chairs as expected... More

I previously published this review but deleted it to revise the ratings which didn't come through for some reason....publishing again: Original review: Well I was hoping for more. The wind was keen to say the least and I wanted a nice stroll with some good chips but that wind changed our minds. A long queue for a cup of tea... More

Visited at lunchtime, the menu is fairly limited. We had the soup, a burger and two drinks for £20. The location is good, but the food at best was only average and I would have to echo previous comments about the speed and quality of the table clearing.

We popped in on a Friday afternoon for tea/coffee and cake. I had a lovely Victoria sponge and a pot of tea, both of which were very good. The views in both directions are beautiful. The cafe is always clean and tidy.
