Heard a lot about this restaurant, so thought I'd finally get round to checking it out and I wasn't at all disappointed. The food was outstanding (one of the best restaurants I've been to all year). It was one of those menu's you have difficulty choosing what to have as the menu is that good, and filled with such a... More

I have been looking forward to visiting this restaurant for a while and it didn't disappoint. Great, locally sourced fresh food which was expertly cooked in a relaxed environment. We seemed to have about 5 different waiters serving us so the service could have been smoother. My husband went for the piggy platter as couldn't decide which dessert to have... More

Having not been to Storm for some time, we were really looking forward to going again. The menu did not disappoint and although one or two selections were unavailable, there were equally good alternatives on offer.Despite somewhat slow service, our starters and main courses were excellent all round and we were all happy that we were in for an excellent... I have been meaning to try this place out for a while and, after receiving mixed reviews from friends, finally got round to seeing what it was about. Went with a few friends who hadn't been there before either. The restaurant is quite small however it didn't feel overly crowded or as if we were encroaching on other peoples nights.... More

The restaurant was really let down by the service, the staff were sweet but not clued up enough. It was too busy, everything was asked twice.. do you want water ? do u want drinks .. just annoying! The starter was £6.00 it was ok, not great ! two small pieces of French bread with chargrilled vegetables, tasty but not... More

Nothing but praise. Beautiful room, interesting menu, delicious food, sweet & super friendly staff. Much of the fish is local. Dessert was to die for. The kind of restaurant you wish you had just around the corner.

Rustic environment with rough tables, slightly uneven, which created a relaxed atmosphere. Arrived at 6.30. Had G&T and ordered. Attentive relaxed waitresses. Started with home made white bread, olives and olive oil and balsamic. Nice bread but otherwise nothing special. Then Crab Bisque which was hot with ? chili but delicious. Dinner partner had delicious melanzane parmigiana with just the... More

We were interested to see the programme on TV in 2013/2014 featuring Storm Restaurant after many years of travelling to Dorset. We were finally able to book for 29/7/15 and although we could not fault the food we had a starter and a main course which were excellent the service was very poor, we had to wait an hour for... We had dinner at Storm and enjoyed it. Scallops for starters were lovely and our main courses were tasty. Our chocolate cake and ice cream for pudding was very good! However, the service was a bit disappointing, the waitress was new and made some basic mistakes ie poured our white wine into our water glasses. We ordered red wine with... More
