We went for lunch at the South Deep Café last Friday. What a lovely experience! The food was wonderful served by a great staff. We would go back again, again, again and again.

Reserved a table to celebrate a family birthday. Greeted by a rather abrupt member of staff. However, the food was great which made up for the initial welcome. Certainly will return but not necessarily in a hurry.

We stopped here for a snack after walking the dog, I ordered two lattes, a soup and starters of mussels, but we were brought a main meal of mussels, chips and bread. This wasn't what I ordered, it was approx another £7.00 more expensive and I explained that we had just popped in for a snack not a main meal... More

Following the recommendation of a friend, we went here earlier today for brunch. A great location, within Parkstone Bay boatyard, which made it a hidden treasure. Great views across to the Bay (if you're lucky enough to be seated near a window!) and there is seating outside for sunny days. I chose smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Served with grilled... More

All week the sun had shone, had planned to have lunch with a work colleague on the boat, of course as to all best laid plans it rained. Where to go for a sea aspect lunch with a good chance of a decent meal and not take forever and be pretentious. Well South Deep of course. Quick phone call to... More

Very good lunch in much improved surroundings. This place has really smartened itself up and now produces great food and coffee in stylish surroundings. Dine in or out under a giant awning. Pleasant vistas across Parkstone Bay and the boatyard.

Decided to visit for an afternoon cake and coffee after reading rave reviews on the internet. Cake was dry and stale. Service was slow and inhospitable, had to keep asking for things that we had ordered. not worth the trek out to the marina.

Recently visited the cafe with avid anticipation as both the reviews here and personal recommendations were very positive. Staff were very good but, I have to question how good a cafe/restaurant is that cannot cook a med/rare steak at two attempts and manages to produce an au poivre sauce without any flavour or pepper!! Very dissapointing.

A lovely little place down in the marina looking across the water with plenty of outdoor seating, so great for a drink on a sunny day. The food is also well worth visiting for, I particularly enjoyed the Moules Marinière, but there is plenty of other choices. There is parking in the road up to the marina but you may... More
