Stumbled across this little Gem during a business trip. Traditional pub with a good value fish menu. Had the Seabass which was so nice I returned the following evening and tried the Salmon which was even better I only wish I was staying another night and I would try the fish stew. Reasonably priced and fair size portions that didnt... More

I normally don't eat any fresh fish other than shellfish but I was tempted by their boneless Cajun catfish fillets and they were nothing less than perfect. We asked about fries as they aren't on the menu but were told... More

A fish lovers paradise. The mussels and seafood casserole are amazing and great value. Service by the waitress was on par with any great restaurant. The landlord was attentive and recommended some good wine. It is more of a restaurant than a pub.

I came on a day that wasn't very busy and therefore I had plenty of room to myself. This pub is a quaint place and it feels nostalgic. Its a very nice place. The food is excellent. I can't say much more about it accept this. They had a raspberry creme brûlée that was absolutely wonderful. I haven't had one... More

Food was excellent, good selection on the menu and specials board, The service was very good, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The wine and beer are excellent, overall a lovely evening out and good value for money. The lemon cheesecake is certainly a winner !!!

We called in for some light refreshment whilst in Poole. Sandwiches and drinks were ok but the two ladies were quite indifferent and certainly not very welcoming. This pub has a marvellous position and must attract many visitors because of its position. I would not recommend.
