Excellent as always

Have been going to this restaurant for about 15 years, it's one of my favourites. Myself and 7 friends ate there last night (11th April) and the service, food, staff and ambience, was second to none! Thank you for a lovely evening. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been regular visitors to Isabel's over the last 34 years....they never fail to please, food is consistently good. Luciano (chef) and Maggie, husband and wife owners have made this over the years one of best restaraunts in the area, always a warm welcome from Paulo who is part and parcel of Isabel's. We have been tonight & enjoyed... More

I called to adjust a booking only to have a very angry man answer the phone who was arrogant and extremely unfriendly. Obviously he has took his French themed restaurant a little too far! I did get called back by a friendly women but the damage was done and the booking was cancelled. Never to call again.

We made a reservation for a 61st birthday party, and were accommodated well when numbers increased. Sadly the birthday boy had vomiting and diarrhoea on the day of the reservation so we had to cancel with 6 hours to go. What I received on the end of the phone bordered on abusive, and I ended up being reprimanded by a... More

I had been hoping to visit Isabel's for some time and was delighted when my husband booked for my birthday. Even on a busy Friday evening in the run up to Christmas we could not fault the service, the menu choice, the quality of the food or the experience as a whole. Just lovely. So much so we are returning... More

Went to Isabel's for Valentines and yes it is a nice restaurant although the decor needs a little updating and the tables for two are literally right on top of each other, so great if you love your conversation listened too.!? The food was nice but a little bland, if your paying £100 plus for a meal for two then... More

Booked a booth which was good as some of the other tables were a tight squeeze. All 4 of us had different dishes for starters and main course. They were all delicious. The seafood starter was amazing. Would definitely return but need to save some money as it's expensive.

We booked this restaurant (partly because of its ranking on Trip Advisor) to celebrate a birthday but we're very disappointed. Walking in is like going back time although not in a particularly bad way. We were met promptly and quickly shown to our table and drinks ordered. The table was one of several for couples along one wall and, to... More

I was expecting sth more spectacular but food didn't blow my socks away. Wouldn't rush there. I have eaten better and cheaper in Poole.

Well i came away from here thoroughly satisfied, even if my wallet had been cleared out. Book a booth, they are cosy, intimate and secluded for up to 4 people. The menu is wide and plently of meat/fish options. Its not the cheapest place in town but you know that by going there and it doesnt let you down. This... More
