Description: With a prime location in the heart of Stevenage Leisure Park, this ASK...
With a prime location in the heart of Stevenage Leisure Park, this ASK Italian restaurant has recently gone through an extensive refurbishment. We've created a restaurant with a distinctive new look inspired by modern Italian design. And with the help of our expert friends, including awarding-winning chef Theo Randall, we've created a menu that features a range of simple, classic Italian food and an all Italian wine list.

Christmas do

Went with my wife for her staff Christmas do, limited menu available and a few items unavailable which was a shame, but food was ok hot and was served fairly quickly. The place was busy but staff attentive, did the job for a staff do, probably wouldn't want to go for a romantic meal though

I have no idea how it is possible to make Italian food bland but this branch of Ask has managed it both with their pasta and pizza! Italian food is supposed to be the most exciting food in the world. The mushroom pasta was ordered and even with loads of parmesan cheese grated on to it it had no taste... More

We used to always go to Ask in York when we visited there until we had a meal which was cold and nobody seemed to care. I don't know what has happened to this chain but I have just had another truly bad meal. It was supposed to be a salad with croutons. It arrived so far after my five... More

Cramped seating, rude staff and terrible food. That is the summary of the review. I have eaten at both this Ask and the Ask in the high street in Stevenage and the difference couldn't be bigger. We came as a family outing, 5 of us in total. We had starters and main courses. On arrival, our first waitress sat me... More

Lovely food and service just very quiet, although it was 5pm! Great for kids, really looked after them including ice cream and a mini cappuccino. Calzone was ok and the carbonara was lovely.

On the spur of the moment we decided to eat out so wandered up to Ask. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who told us the gas supply wasn't working so the menu was limited, mainly to pizza. Hey, pizza is what we wanted so we wandered in. Service was prompt and friendly. The kitchen was able to... More

I visited this restaurant with my two teenage daughters for Mothers Day. We came as we were unable to get into Prezzo next door. I have not visited this particular restaurant for years. All I can say is that it has really gone downhill since my last visit. It all started well, we ordered starters which arrived quickly and were... More

Ate in here tonight - haven't eaten in ASK for several years and was impressed. Very polite staff, prompt service and good food.

Nipped in for lunch with my mum before a cinema visit. On arrival we discovered there was only one guy serving (who informed us that he doesn't normally work here) and could only see one chef. So we instantly thought 'great, going to be late for our film'. But even though the poor lad was running around on his own,... More
