We hadn't been to the brasserie for a while and fancied a change to the waterfront restaurants so booked this for a family celebration having had several fantastic meals there previously. I have to say that we were all very disappointed. We spent a lot of money and the food was average to say the least. The food was extremely... More

Me and my friend decided to try somewhere different so we went her, we were greated as we walked in and felt at home. The waitresses were friendly and gave good advice on food choices. The Cajun Tuna steak wash very nice and we had the Madagascan vanilla Creme brulee which was divine.

The whole meal was lovely, the decor was great, lovely atmosphere, the general manager was brilliant - very funny! Confused about the random disco ball in the bar area but ended up looking quite pretty in the evening. Would be great if it was hidden in the ceiling and then folded down and out once the evening kicked off but... More

This little bistro style restaurant is excellent. We had a lovely round table in the centre of the dining area for our party of six which was perfect. The set menu provided us with ample choice but there is also an a la carte menu for a more varied selection if required. Portions were generous and little extra's like re... More

A group of us meet regularly to enjoy an evening meal and catch up with one another. We visited the Brasserie in Falcon Street for the first time and had a very enjoyable evening. The restaurant was relatively buy for a Tuesday evening but the front of house service was prompt and very friendly, a comprehensive fixed menu that offered... More

I have wonderful memories of this place. Can't fault it. Good food and service. Recommended. I would be back sooner if I didn't live so far away.

It was a satisfying meal to complement Ipswich's win. We had the soup of the day and white bait. The soup had a balanced touch of stilton. White bait was meaty and portion size was good as a starter. The steaks (Ribeye and Sirloin) were done to our liking - juicy and rich. We had to skip the desserts as... More

First visit with family for my birthday and was really pleased. The food was scrumptious and the staff were attentive without being too in your face. It has a lovely ambience and I would recommend it. The table had been decorated with balloons which was a nice touch. Very enjoyable.
