Lovely evening. It was nice to see lots of dishes we had not seen before. Reasonable choice of wines at sensible prices and excellent service the whole evening. We will definitely be back.

Five of us ate here recently. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who guided us to a lounge area to make our choices with complimentary dishes of Bombay mix while we decided what to have. Once ordered we were guided to a large table. Popudoms and pickles soon arrived along with a couple of rather tasty... More

I visited here with family and friends, the atmosphere was relaxed and we were not hurried to our table, enabling us to enjoy a drink and a chat before eating. The staff are really attentive and nothing is too much trouble. As I am on a diet I ordered the grilled salmon with salad instead of chips and was not... More

We ordered a take away from here on a busy Saturday night. The wait was long (which we expected) and the food was passable taste but very very greasy. Also, no naan bread served with a balti... Very odd! We won't be visiting again

Update - I have been back many times to Dhaka over the last month or two. On my visit straight after my last review, nothing was said but the phall I had was appreciably hotter and much better - they had read my review and acted on it. Most commendable! I'm now a regular and love my curries, so it... More

If are an indian in search of indian food then this is not the place to hang your boots at all. Most of the dishes at sweet and when you ask for spicy all you get is a curry prepared of mirchi powder! The quantity is not much specially for an door items and so is the taste.

Went in by myself this evening as I started work in Ipswich today & needed cheering up as I'm away from home during the week. Best bits - staff, speed of service, poppadoms, egg pilau, and their plain naan was exceptional. Not so best bits - phall was not really hot at all but despite that was pretty good. Complementary... I've eaten in most Indian restaurants in Ipswich and, although I really wanted this one to be great, it wasn't. It has a nice atmosphere and the service is very good but the food is very average. The classic Chicken Tikka Massala was far from the best I've had (that award goes to the Maharani). Other mains we tried were... More
