Had a reasonable meal here last week, but found it pricey. Put up with it due to combo with great ale. Pub is shabby and toilets are a disgrace.

Celebrated a friend's birthday on a Sunday lunchtime ..... a large group of mixed ages. Food orders catered for everyone's needs and good children were served first so allowed adults to chat and eat their meals with minimal disturbance. Provided us with a side room and a table close by with games and crayons for the children. Excellent food, all... More

Went here for a Tuesday lunch time . Was very quiet we had 2 fish chips and amazing mushy peas and burger with lovely chips . Homemade ketchup. I think it's a little expensive compared to others along the key .. I will return

Not the easiest place to find and a pretty scruffy location. However, once there, the staff are welcoming, helpful and efficient. We went for a quick lunch and although the wait for our food was rather longer than planned, it was without doubt worth waiting for. The burger was quite simply the best I have ever tasted, and I've eaten... More

The food here was good and tasty but very over priced and the menu was not what we expected, there wasn't a very big choice, this may have been because it was a Sunday.... The pub itself seems to be in the middle of renovation but it's hard to tell!! As the night went on it got very chilly where... More

We had a three course lunch which was good, I am vegetarian and the choices are much better than many other pubs. Excellent service from friendly staff. Very interesting interior, a little too rustic maybe but a really nice atmosphere.

Just back from a birthday lunch with the girls. Two of us had Seabass, Guinea Fowl and Chorizo Jambalaya (amazing!) and two had pork belly (delicious) - all plates scraped clean! Shared two cheeseboards between four of us, which was plenty. Generous portions really well cooked. Will definitely be back again.

Mixed reaction to The Brewery Tap, had a Christmas Party here, 20 of us. We all had something off the Christmas menu; those that had the turkey option said it was very dry; the veg undercooked, the veggie option however was very good. The staff kept coming through with meals for another booking!

I visited the Brewery Tap for a Christmas meal with friends. The food was excellent - very tasty and excellent value. The menu was varied, and everyone loved their meals. It's a well hidden bar but worth finding!
