We got here at 1.55pm so had just 5 minutes to order our food as they stop taking orders at 2pm.Despite being so late and them winding down after the rush our fo.od came very quickly and was delicious. All 4 of us are vegetarians and there was a good choice of veggie dishes served with plenty of chips! The... More

Arrived in the middle of a very busy Sunday lunch without prior booking to find the pub buzzing and every table full. The lady behind the bar was quick to tell us there would be a table available in few minutes if we were willing to wait., and by the time we had ordered our drinks the table was ready.... More

Several real ales with strength/price on a blackboard. Very busy with good atmosphere. Huge portion of fish and chips and reasonable price. Very friendly staff.

I visited this pub after a recommendation from someone and I've not stopped raving about the food since! Me and my boyfriend both had different starters and main courses, and each dish was absolutely amazing and full of flavour. As well as being delicious, they were really generous with the portion sizes so no room for dessert. The beef in... More

Our kids took us to this pub in Ipswich for dinner. The staff were really friendly but not intrusive. The food was lovely. Locally sourced and really good value. The menu is extensive enough to satisfy everyone. For beer lovers there is Adnams a plenty. As we waited outside for our taxi, one of the staff came back with his... More

I went to the Greyhound for lunch with a work colleague. I had a look at the two menus where they have foods ranging from about £5 to £11, but there was no steak listed so i asked the waiter if they sell steak? The waiter said yes we have rib eye steak, so one assumed it would be priced... More

We found The Greyhound via Tripadvisor when we couldn't eat at our hotel on a Saturday night. A taxi brought us there and we stepped inside, we thought we'd made a mistake as the front bar looks a bit "spit and sawdust". However, the friendly staff showed us to a more pleasant bar round the other side where we enjoyed... More
