Trained chef and fussy foodie, I was taken to this restaurant on a Saturday night - we booked early for an early meal. The atmosphere is wonderful, you can talk and socialise at ease, the view is outstanding, cleanliness is spot on, choice of beer and wines great. Staff incredibly attentive, friendly and professional. There were four of us and... More

Thw food here is just excellent. The eggs benedict is really good for breakfast and at lunch the choices are all very tasy and balanced.Well thought out menu and exceptionally well cooked. My only moan is that service can be hit and miss and if it were not for this I would give this a rating of excellent. Good pricing... More

The Sifffolk Food Hall is a great place to spend an hour or so on a Sunday morning, especially when a fabulous breakfast is the main event! The produce is locally, seasonally and ethically sourced. The menu includes modern classics and classics alike with a wide selection for breakfast lunch or dinner. There is no better hangover cure than their... More

Popped in here for a quick lunch. Good choices on menu - we went for seared mackeral with sourdough bread and rhubarb salsa & burger with sweet potato wedges. Both were vey good - the mackeral had a good seared flavour, the burger was clearly made of good quality beef, rather than commercial stuff, and had a nice griddled taste.... More

After vising Jimmies pig farm we went to see what was on offer at the Sufflok Food Hall only a half a mile away. Lots of expensive plants, gifts and some imaginative food retailing. We saw the little kitchen and the virtual cupboard where the washing-up is done. We challenged the food by ordering the more difficult classical dishes -... More

We don't visit Samford's that often, but the last visit prompted me to get them on the Tripadvisor radar screen. 3 of us lunched there, and all of our dishes were absolutely excellent in terms of ingredients, taste, and size. The service is understated, which is just how we like it, yet sufficiently attentive. We overheard a neighbouring table saying... More
