Visited first time today and enjoyed a brilliant veggie lunch. I am a meat eater but this food was so good I did not miss the meat which is the highest praise! Staff very friendly and prices so reasonable I left a tip. Felt comfortable and although I ate with my lovely daughter-in-law today I would feel ok to eat... More

Whenever I go to Ipswich I make sure I have time to go for lunch here. It's a small cafe, but you get the biggest welcome. In fact all the staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome and appreciated for your custom. The food (all vegetarian) is freshly made, delicious and reasonably priced. The decor is a... Tiny cafe, usually packed -- and rightly so. This is really excellent, imaginative vegetarian food -- I come here for inspiration. Pleasant staff and a regularly changing menu of delicious meals, several GF options amongst them. My companion was disappointed not to be able to get any GF cake (they'd accidentally used the wrong baking powder -- at least they... More

I had veggie friends visiting from France and I had been waiting for a good excuse to eat here, so lunch killed two birds with one stone. This place is right in the middle of the town, there is very simple seating indoors and out and the whole place had an inviting industrial feel. The staff are amazingly helpful, happy... More

My Mum and I often visit Museum St Cafe as a lunchtime treat. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Neither of us are vegetarian but the food here beats anything else in Ipswich. The Dahl and Polenta cake are especially nice!

I have been to this little gem several times and I have to emphasise how absolutely amazing it is! The food is just divine. I would seriously eat here every day if I lived closer and could afford to!! (Not that it's expensive, though, because it's very reasonably priced). Love this place! (And I agree with the person who said... More

Have eaten here twice now and both occasions the food has been delicious. Really savoury, tasty, vegetarian lunches. The staff are delightful. I understand it can get very busy and difficult to find a seat but I had no problem on either visit. I mentioned it to a meat-eater at work and he said the food was so nice you... More

Food is brilliant, all home made, though fewer choices than they used to do (plus more safe options - like always jacket potatoes and lasagne - I like the more out-there stuff they do occasionally, like polenta cakes). Also fewer choices if you're pregnant (a lot of goats cheese). Friendly staff, and water jugs on the table is a nice... More
