After a stroll along the West Shore of Llandudno, we decided to have lunch at the West Shore Cafe. We have previously popped in for an ice cream or a hot chocolate in the winter but we decided have a treat. There is an extensive menu from sandwiches, paninis, and burgers to toasties and a daily menu on a large... More

We called here for lunch on a cycle trip from West Shore to Penmaenmawr, and we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, friendliness and quality of food served. It takes it a step up from other beach cafes. It was so pleasant we called for a coffee late afternoon on our return! A great shame they close so early (... More

This was certainly more than I expected in a beach cafe. They had an excellent selection of cooked meal options, as well as some fantastic cake as well. I was there on a Friday afternoon & the place was packed and the service was still friendly & the food came out quickly. There is indoor or outdoor seating and the... More

I only nipped in for a couple of cans of drink before setting off on a long drive home after watching the Tour of Britain cycle race. Two cans of Tango please said I. That's £2.40 please, said the young lady behind the counter. Err.... ok then. I expected a premium price but that was really just too much. They... More

Hi Jmt6464 I feel really frustrated with your review - I asked the team if they recalled you, and as we were quiet due to the cycle race the person who served you did remember you and told me, that you bought two cans then sat outside in the sun to enjoy a drink. You were happy to use us... More

Forget beefburgers, buckets and spades and ice creams. Yes you can get all of these at the West Shore Beach Café but there's so much more. Lovely meals, delicious cakes and desserts, the cooking is top notch and the staff are so friendly. Walking along West Shore for a meal (or three) was the highlight of our holiday.

Having followed their page on Facebook, it's amazing how they've got the place together after the storm damage over the winter. The food is lovely, and more adventurous than you might expect for a beach café, they feature local produce and it's well cooked and presented. Beautiful homemade cakes, too, and well priced. Nice decor, friendly staff, fantastic views. It's... More

A contemporary interpretation of the traditional with bright and cheerful decor. Good service and lovely food. I particularly recommend the Welsh Breakfast!
