We have visited West Shore Beach Cafe quite a number of times over the years and they never disappoint. Quality food, drinks and service every time. It's quite some way above the run of the mill beach cafe. You may have to wait occasionally for a table due to its huge popularity but it is well worth the wait. All... More

Cannot believe when asked where the ladies toilets are, I was asked if I was a customer!! I was directed to a path leading to 2 portaloos - unlocked, filthy and with no hand wash facility. How does this meet current regations? No disabled facilities, unlit and filthy - how dare they operate as a regulated, assessed establishment? Not good... More

Hi Karen G Just to let you know, the reason we have portaloos at the moment is because the basement of the cafe was flooded in Dec 2013, and we've been waiting 15 long hard months for our local council to complete a refurbishment. They are due to start work on 13th April. As for your review - I'm sorry... More

This is the second time i have visited here and came here for the full breakfast which for £6.95 is slightly more expensive than normal but im fine paying a bit more as long as its ok, staff were friendly enough and i have no problem at all with the place and the home made cakes look very appealing but... Hi Richard A I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your breakfast, I wish you'd said something then we would have tried to put things right. I'm not sure what happened with the sausages as we always grill them on two sides to make sure they're cooked evenly, as for the scrambled egg being bland we use a free range egg a... More

Came looking for a place to fly a kite... Tide in and not enough wind so stooped for a bite... Lovely prawn sandwich, fluffy chips, and an epic hot chocolate kept my teenage daughter happy... We shared! A lovely brownie finished it off. Staff were lovely despite being busy! A nice respite from the main town - we will be... More

Wet and windy March day, trying to keep dry, fancied a snack and a warm. Saw this oasis and just had to take a peek. Situated on the edge of the beach in we went.
