A quick brew

All we wanted was a quick brew, to keep us warm whilst we had a catch up chat on the windy prom, whilst walking the dog. The service was friendly, premises clean, coffee (and Tea) well brewed and the array of cakes outstanding!!!! It took all our combined will power NOT to order any, but if... read more

Well done for such a lovely cafe!!! Great food for normal diets plus Gluten free heaven for me. Anyone that has gluten free diet knows what a nightmare it is to eat out. BUT not at this cafe. You can have a full English breakfast with quality sausage and bacon supplied locally, lovely g free bread and a wonderful marmalade... More

Visited West Shore Café last week when quiet, ordered 2 bacon sandwiches, coffee & a tea. All we got was a plain bacon sandwich each, no side salad or trimmings, cost £11.70 . Disgusted, we're local so no wonder visitors feel ripped off. I'll never visit there again.

We Visited the cafe for lunch at the end of a pleasant walk along the promenade from Deganwy. The food was very good at a reasonable price. Will visit again.

Light and cheerful little cafe. Full menu to choose from, very good prices. Cake display was beyond tempting with good choice of gluten free cakes. Staff very helpful when I visited with my disabled Mum.

We visited this cafe for an early lunch 3 times in a week which demonstrates how good we thought it was!! Very polite and helpful staff,a large and varied menu and a lovely sitting out area in good weather. Homemade cakes are delicious and the Welsh rarebit is very tasty indeed and good value. We had a bit of a... More

We have visited West Shore Beach Cafe quite a number of times over the years and they never disappoint. Quality food, drinks and service every time. It's quite some way above the run of the mill beach cafe. You may have to wait occasionally for a table due to its huge popularity but it is well worth the wait. All... More

Cannot believe when asked where the ladies toilets are, I was asked if I was a customer!! I was directed to a path leading to 2 portaloos - unlocked, filthy and with no hand wash facility. How does this meet current regations? No disabled facilities, unlit and filthy - how dare they operate as a regulated, assessed establishment? Not good... More

Hi Karen G Just to let you know, the reason we have portaloos at the moment is because the basement of the cafe was flooded in Dec 2013, and we've been waiting 15 long hard months for our local council to complete a refurbishment. They are due to start work on 13th April. As for your review - I'm sorry... More

This is the second time i have visited here and came here for the full breakfast which for £6.95 is slightly more expensive than normal but im fine paying a bit more as long as its ok, staff were friendly enough and i have no problem at all with the place and the home made cakes look very appealing but... Hi Richard A I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your breakfast, I wish you'd said something then we would have tried to put things right. I'm not sure what happened with the sausages as we always grill them on two sides to make sure they're cooked evenly, as for the scrambled egg being bland we use a free range egg a... More

Came looking for a place to fly a kite... Tide in and not enough wind so stooped for a bite... Lovely prawn sandwich, fluffy chips, and an epic hot chocolate kept my teenage daughter happy... We shared! A lovely brownie finished it off. Staff were lovely despite being busy! A nice respite from the main town - we will be... More
