This is a lovely local pub ideal for a pint when the weather is hot and you need a cold lager or beer. It has an outside area which is great when the weather allows. Not eaten so can't comment on the food but it does always seem to be busy with people eating.

Good pub grub, served quickly, but a little work needed on the veggies. Get there early as it seems to be popular with the locals and space is limited

Last year we loved this pub on holiday . Waited 2 mins at the bar money in my hand. I was the only person there and 3 staff walked away or couldn't be bothered to serve drinks to me. What a difference 1 year makes very bad attitude to customers.

Went on Sunday for lunch, food and service was great. Even had room for a pudding at the end which was delicious, would definitely recommend for home cooked food and friendly service

We visited the Queen Victoria as it was just over the road from our hotel and he decided to call in for a drink. I can't comment on the food as the kitchen was out of action during our visit. We found the atmosphere relaxing and had a very pleasant time there.
