There has been a change of tenancy of this pub, regretfully the standards have also changed, and not for the better, having paid £8.50 for two pints of "Peroni" I pointed out to a member of staff that the beer was flat, there was no life in the pint, there were a few very week bubbles raising in the glass.But... Great pub with great beer. A warm welcome from friendly staff. It was good to see that dogs are welcome inside, although as it was warm we sat outside with our Cocker Spaniel and watched the world go by.

One of the more livelier pubs, 4 handcrafted ales on and also got addicted to the quiz machine, especially Match of the Day

What a fabulous place. Excellent food, fast efficient service. A great traditional pub atmosphere with well kept real ale. Our 2 children and small dog were made to feel very welcome. Perfect for us! I believe its under new management, i can't comment as to what it was like before, but our visit last week was outstanding.

I've been to the Queen Vic several times with a group and been seated in the 'posh' dining room upstairs. Usually we've been served and left to chat at the end of our meal, even with complementary 'trivial pursuits' cards to amuse ourselves. Last time we went, this had changed. The service was speedy ... a bit too speedy, with... More

Pub looked good as we walked in so we ordered food and drinks, Food portions are very small our fish and chips consisted of two very small pieces of fish a few chunky chips and salad no way worth £6.50 each more like kiddies portions, i cant see why people leave positive reports at all, atmosphere was poor, Don't bother

Been visiting this pub whilst on Holiday for the past twenty years or so. We arrived on Monday 25th August to Llandudno. The weather was poor. I said let's go to the Victoria something to eat. My wife and I chose the steak and ale pie which was presented in a pie dish with puff a pastry top served with... More

What a super local (I wish), We spent a couple of evenings enjoying a few drinks in the lovely relaxed atmosphere of the Queen Vic. The staff were very pleasant, welcoming and we will definately visit again and try the food.

The food and service is good. But shame about portion sizes. For what you pay I'd of expected more. The size of the portion of food was something I'd expect for a child not an adult. Due to this i would not eat here again.
