Holts do fish 'n' chips.

This is first and foremost a local. The regulars aren't overly happy to be squeezed in by you if you are a large party taking up 'their' space. The food was ok, if obvious fayre, the apple pie was utterly scrumptious. Very reasonably priced and the staff are friendly, if a little stressed when it... read more

Nice place to have a drink but our experience of sunday lunch was terrible - beef tough and microwaved everything. No wonder the dining area was empty when every other place is busy, we ate here a year ago on our last visit and it was then very good.

Have eaten here a number of times when on holiday in Llandudno, and never been disappointed. The atmosphere is really friendly, food is really good, and have some really good real ales. Can be very busy at times, so might be an idea to book a table.

We didn't dine here this time as the whole steak/stone experience is not for us. I'm lazy and prefer others to do the cooking for me. We did however have a drink downstairs. The bar staff were efficient and friendly and regularly walk around the pub asking if everything is ok. We toasted away in front of the fire which... More

Our family have a weekend in Llandudno every June (there are 12 of us) we always book a table at 'The Vic' upstairs in the restaurant. We have wonderful service and lovely hot , home-cooked food. We heard that there had been a change to the restaurant so don't know if it will suit us this year.

Had a few beers at the bar as couldn't get a seat. Meal upstairs was to die for. Fantastic hot stone cooking. Best steak i've ever tasted. Had mine with proper homemade chunky... More

We have visited the Queen Victoria for the last 7 years. It was a special 65th birthday this year and we rang to book the room as normal upstairs. There was know mention of the pub being sold and that upstairs now operated a Black Rock hot stone, cook yourself meals only. We all arrived - shock horror. Prices, cook... More

When visiting Llandudno we were restricted where we could go out to eat and drink as we had our dog with us. The Queen Victoria was recommended to us by our hotelier as a dog friendly pub. We went there on that recommendation. On our arrival the locals were very friendly and started to talk to us immediately. The bar... More
