We dined here on spec. It wasn't very busy but the food was fantastic. It was a little large for us and we only had pasta dishes for mains. We both has starters and shared bruschetta. I did manage a tiramisu and we washed it down with a lovely bottle of Rose. The bill was around £50 which I thought... More

Called for a pre-theatre meal - and enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious and we like the 80s-esque décor - it was cosy and comfortable. The other areas could do with a spruce up - stairs leading to restaurant a bit 'sticky' and loo area could do with a bit more attention, however these are not issues that... More

WE went in March, so restaurant very quiet, just my husband and I . we had a three course meal, cooked to perfection, all freshly cooked, excellent value for money, think it was £22/23 and there was a good selection of courses to choose from, very good service, lovely atmosphere, very romantic , would visit it again

Having used Casanova's many times, I was disappointed last weekend, the staff didn't seem to know what was what, hubbie had Garlic Mushrooms, the sauce was so very watery, I had a Pasta main course, which was very disappointing, the Pasta was really over cooked - really soft, shame really as always had good meals in the past

We visited this restaurant with friends and family and on ordering drinks my friend advised the young waiter that the glass of wine he had tried was 'corked' and asked him if he knew what this meant. The reply was 'is it good'. My friend then told him the meaning so he took the glass away and that was that... More

Having visited this restaurant 3-4 years previous, we were hoping that the food was still as good and I'm glad to say that it was! I had the peppered fillet and this was a subtly tasting sauce below a beautifully cooked piece of prime fillet. Not 1 piece was left, as can be the case with some cheaper cuts of... More

Went for a meal as a couple, food was average but the service was very slow! There was a young lady working and you could see she was running around but apart from that .... Well ..... We waited ages for our mains to be taken away and the main waiter ( man ) didn't say a word when he... More
