We are currently open for winter hours, Saturday from 5pm to late. The Cambridge Mostyn's menu has proven a hit with visitors to the region. It is a treasure trove of unexpected specialities (monkey gland sauce anyone?). Diners can enjoy classic Welsh staples like St David's chicken (wrapped in bacon with a cream leek and mustard sauce), or embark on one of the 'great meal adventures' and sample exotic meats and game in dishes like the juicy ostrich fillet steak, tender kangaroo rogan josh, or succulent llama chipotle chilli burgers. An extensive wine list is also available at Cambridge Mostyn restaurant in Llandudno, to go along with its delectable range of ice creams and liqueurs. The eclectic selection of food and drink is matched only by the diverse decor, which features influences from the savannah to the valleys. Offering cuisines both local and exotic on the Welsh coast, Cambridge Mostyn is just an 8-minute walk from Llandudno Rail Station.

An amazing taste adventure!

Four of us visited last week and it was just fantastic. There was something for all of us (and we have very different tastes). The classic welsh dishes went down well, along with the tower burger and the game hot pot! I tried the 3 courses of the blind taster and meal and just WOW! Everything was... read more

We had not been here before as it is upstairs over other shops and had only been open a short time. However we will be going there many more times as the food, ambience and service were excellent. Mainly caters for south African food which we will try next time we go there. However my lank shank was to die... More

This was our 2nd visit and again food was lovely. Huge portion sizes well worth the money. Staff are lovely and the chef even came out to chat to the diners about their meals. My meal was lovely and my partner had the ostrich in honey a mustard sauce he loved it. Yes we be coming for a third time.

Meant to put this review up a while back. We found this place in Llandudno after stopping off to eat on our way back to Ireland via Holyhead back at the end of October. I was attracted to the outside and the extensive and unusual menu on a large colourful board. The staff were very friendly and did their best... More

Booked here but table not ready when we arrived, ended up on a table for four which was too big for two. Food very nice but no consistency with dishes ordered. Staff very friendly and helpful but quite flustered and disorganised. Would return again but on a quiet night.

We are a busy restaurant, the majority of our tables are set for four people and our waitresses do their utmost to please customers. You say the food is inconsistent, it would have been helpful if you elaborated on your view, which is completely at odds with all of our other diners reviews. If you had had the decency to... More

We had two parties of 10 and a party of 12 booked on the night so I am unsure which one you may have been in - in any event it was our great pleasure serving all customers on the night = absolutely fabulous and cheerful crowd on the night! I dined at this restaurant on Saturday night with my boyfriend, mainly because of all the great reviews about the food and the menu having such a wide range of meals. When we arrived we were seated, no one offered us drinks straight away. We waited 20 minutes just to order drinks as no one came over by that point... More

Sorry we did not meet your SPEED-DINING expectations when you arriving without booking on a busy Saturday night, I am delighted you enjoyed the food and if you did return to Llandudno, I gladly accept your undertaking. May I suggest instead you forgo the waiting on service, wine and music and use the local chippy instead. CCTV shows you were... More
