Very good food and service.

Whilst staying at the St Tudno hotel, we decided to book in for dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Under the previous owners there used to be a smart dress code but this has been relaxed by the current owners as we were informed "anything goes". When we went down to dinner, we were offered a... read more

Lovely, traditional cream tea (with an upgrade available to include champagne and strawberries - yummy - which we took advantage of!). Excellent service & very friendly. Teas were topped up without asking and more sandwiches were offered. We were beaten by the quantity of food though - remaining cakes were given to us in a box to take home. The... More

We had been given a gift voucher for Christmas for deluxe afternoon tea, so cashed it in this week. St Tudno's is very traditional & does tradition well. We enjoyed a leisurely afternoon tea, kicked off with a glass of fizz, freshly prepared finger sandwiches ( smoked salmon, egg. Ham), cakes, scones, bara brith & welsh cakes - copious amounts... We spent ages trudging around looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday night - best to book in advance and we hadn't! In contrast to everywhere else, this place only had a few diners, which is always worrying, but we were hungry and needed to eat. There is a set menu of £15 for two courses, with a good... More

Stopped here to get a coffee. It advertised Latte's, Cappuccino's etc. Sat outside for 5 minutes but no one appeared. Went inside and found a bar and asked for a latte and a cappuccino. Sorry sir came the answer we only have Cafetiere. If you don't sell, don't say you've got it.

We were absolutely delighted with the afternoon tea at St Tudno, scones were excellent. Ham sandwiches were probably the best we had, we even asked staff where they buy their ham, and we found out they are smoking it at their premises. The service was excellent, bunch of fresh flowers on our table added to the experience. We had a... More

Visited St Tudno restaurant with a large group for an annual dinner. The meal was okay but the beef main course was very rare and quite a few people left the meat slices they considered too rare. The service was slow and not particularly friendly. The new owners are still settling in so hopefully things will improve quickly.

We visited this venue over the Easter Bank Holiday for Afternoon Tea. My partner had called to enquire if she needed to book. She was told she would need to book as it was guaranteed to be busy. Needless to say when we arrived there were only two other people dining! We decided upon our table and were seated. The... More
