Description: Watkins Co restaurant in Llandudno is an equation that comes out right...
Watkins Co restaurant in Llandudno is an equation that comes out right every time. Take an award-winning restaurant, set it in one of Llandudnos top hotels, create an historic Victorian dining stuffed with formal elegance, add in an inventive chef with a dab hand at classic favourites and its elementary -- Watkins is a hit. Half the menu is seasonal, locally-sourced a la carte deliciousness, while the other half is a daily-changing table dhote menu offering excellent value. People love the home-made lasagne and the daily roast, but we recommend the more inventive creations, too. Watkins Cos service, impressive childrens menu and a pocket-friendly wine list get top marks.

We recently dined here on the recommendation of the owners of the B&B where we were staying. They suggested the Poolside restaurant (3 courses £18.95) but that was fully booked. There was availability in the Watkins (4 courses £22.95) so we decided to push the boat out and dine there. We were not disappointed. The ambience, friendly and efficient staff... More

STandard fayre - and great to see real rather than tinned tomatoes for breakfast - and what a range of scrambled egg mixes! My husband really enjoyed dinner - me less so but we were very well catered for and acommodated

We eat here periodically. The food is top class and very good value. Its a nice smart place and you feel as though you have been somewhere a bit special. The only downside is the after dinner coffee. Its better to pay extra and have coffee served at your table. The alternative "free" option is to take coffee in the... More

Lovely restaurant with great food and value set menu. But it was too hot inside. Thought I was going to collapse at one point.

Breakfast is either order at the table or go to the buffet. The buffet was a bit disappointing but when you order at the table it's better. No porridge on the menu unfortunately.

previously have had many meals here but the Sunday lunch we had recently was rather disappointing, my roast pork was just one slice and could hardly see the sausage stuffing, think the two small pieces of roast potatoes had been pre cooked not crispy at all, Roast beef quite fatty but had lovely Yorkshire. Food also could have been hotter!... More

Lovely restaurant - staff attentive but not obtrusive. Food always 'spot on' and always well presented. A really relaxing atmosphere. Amazing value for money and always top quality. Happy friendly staff ( we love John)! And Elizabeth looks far too glamorous to be clearing tables - but she does! The friendly atmosphere and fabulous food is why we keep on... More
