Osborne’s Café and Grill in Llandudno -- could there be a more romantic restaurant anywhere? Set in the Grade II listed Osborne House Hotel right on the promenade, Osborne’s is a modern tribute to high Victorian style. Softly candlelit and decorated with opulent drapery, period fireplace, gleaming chandeliers, gilt mirrors, antiques, paintings and fluted columns, the dining room still manages to be relaxed and informal. Perfect for light bites or full meals, the menu uses local produce to create inventive, seasonally-changing modern European dishes. Everyone loves the Conwy Valley lamb shank with ratatouille and basil when it’s on the menu and the Osborne’s rendering of fish and chips.

Had a lovely dinner with my partner. Good quality English style food. Beautiful setting and quite eclectic. Very friendly service and a place where you can get dressed up a little for dinner. Very enjoyable.

Make reservation, especially on weekends. The duck egg roll starter is a real find, excellently prepared and delicious. The king prawn and monkfish curried rice dish was likewise excellent. The restaurant distinguished itself from the mundane fish preparations of other restaurants that we visited.

Visited here with my 11 year old son for a spot of lunch and it was lovely as always! My son had a toastie and I had duck spring rolls with a nains salad. Was quick service and staff were great with my son. Nice chilled out atmosphere. Love it here.

Could not fault the location, restaurant setting and service. The food was reasonably well presented but I thought it could have been better. The monk fish and king prawn was a little sparse on the monk fish although the rice was just as it should be. The lamb shank was slightly hard and crunchy on one part. The large mirrors... More

This place is amazing the décor the atmosphere the interior of the building and the staff all great. If you are looking for a "special" night out this is the place. The food is very good and not overpriced. A must for your Llandudno visit.

On Monday evening 22 June, 4 of us ate at the Osborne. We had not made a reservation but they managed to fit us in, arriving at about 8.30 pm. I had my favourite starter of White Bait and it was one of the best I've had. The others all enjoyed their starters. The mains included Sea Bass, Lamb Shank... More
