Osborne’s Café and Grill in Llandudno -- could there be a more romantic restaurant anywhere? Set in the Grade II listed Osborne House Hotel right on the promenade, Osborne’s is a modern tribute to high Victorian style. Softly candlelit and decorated with opulent drapery, period fireplace, gleaming chandeliers, gilt mirrors, antiques, paintings and fluted columns, the dining room still manages to be relaxed and informal. Perfect for light bites or full meals, the menu uses local produce to create inventive, seasonally-changing modern European dishes. Everyone loves the Conwy Valley lamb shank with ratatouille and basil when it’s on the menu and the Osborne’s rendering of fish and chips.

What a great, great restaurant! A full and varied menu and the food we had was excellent and reasonably priced. The duck spring rolls were tasty. We had ribeye steak and Calf livers. Fantastic! The restaurant served draft Bitburger Pils that I have not seen before in the UK. Great German beer and another bonus! The staff were extremely friendly and... More

To call it a 'Café' is an understatement. This is more like a gentleman's club. It has a lounge area, a high 'sharing' table opposite the bar area and under a wonderful glass roof and then into one of three dining room areas. We had an early dinner and as we arrived they were lighting candles in the wall mounted... More

Visited on a busy Saturday evening, place was packed and reservations are essential. Food was spot on, fair price, and service great despite being rushed off their feet. Wine list varied and again reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Came here with 2 friends who had never visited before and was lovely to see how impressed there were at the beautifully decorated dining area! We all had starters & mains which were all gorgeous and well presented. I had duck spring rolls which were delicious as always and monkfish & prawn curry. My own groan was the food came... More

Looking for a restaurant one evening and so pleased that we chose this one. Greeted with fine décor, a warm atmosphere, roaring fire and then a friendly welcome offering 3 places to dine - next to the fire in a lounge atmosphere, the great big marble table candle lit or the restaurant self. We dined in the restaurant. I was... More

We have returned to North Wales for Sunday lunch this time. Lovely food, great service and a fabulously relaxing ambience. The dining room is amazing! - you will feel like an extra in Downton Abbey! I can recommend the roast beef and yorkshire pudding - it melts in the mouth. We will no doubt return, as we still haven't eaten... More

The staff are exceptional, but sadly the food wasn't, it was our first visit to the Osbourne, I had the fish with garlic crushed peas, the fish was nicely cooked but far to much crushes peas under the fish and only 3 new potatoes, and that was it The sweet I must say was delicious plum and apple crumble.
