Osborne’s Café and Grill in Llandudno -- could there be a more romantic restaurant anywhere? Set in the Grade II listed Osborne House Hotel right on the promenade, Osborne’s is a modern tribute to high Victorian style. Softly candlelit and decorated with opulent drapery, period fireplace, gleaming chandeliers, gilt mirrors, antiques, paintings and fluted columns, the dining room still manages to be relaxed and informal. Perfect for light bites or full meals, the menu uses local produce to create inventive, seasonally-changing modern European dishes. Everyone loves the Conwy Valley lamb shank with ratatouille and basil when it’s on the menu and the Osborne’s rendering of fish and chips.

We are local to Llandudno and spend many weekends dining out. Osborne House has always been a favourite, for its lavish interior design (you could almost mistake for being in Paris!) and excellent menu offering. Food was delicious (I ordered the Chicken Parfait for starter, and Rib-eye Steak for main course - both excellent!) Staff are polite and attentive, and... More

This chic hostelry has a wonderful ambiance for a B&B. Very up market for a B&B but lade back also. Jonathan runs a very good cafe bar and restaurant, the service is impeccable with part timers who are at uni doing a "fine art " degree. The rooms are elegant, bedrooms very romantic and restaurant so elegant with ornate mirrors... More

We just loved this restaurant !!! We were impressed with the most delicious meal chosen from a varied menu reasonably priced. The surroundings are very clean and comfortable. We felt totally relaxed. All credit to the wonderful staff from the girl who telephoned me the morning of our reservation to confirm our booking and to the waiter and waitress. So... More

Will eat here next time we come. Lovely ambience and good food. Knocked a star off because both of our meals could have been a little hotter. Good food though and good service.

We ate twice here whilst staying locally and were well satisfied with both meals. There was an excellent choice of all courses. Bread was provided and wines were available by the glass at reasonable prices. The staff were excellent and the dining room was a very interesting setting.

Keep having different experiences here - so consistency is clearly lacking! Based on previous experience, decided a safe order would be (the very expensive) filet steak. After all, you can only spoil it by overcooking it can't you? Nice looking steak when it arrived, however it was supposed to have a spinach salad with it. Instead it had 4 spinach... More

Varied menu, attentive staff and we were well looked after. Great location right on the sea front and competetively priced.

We were originally booked in at another pub/restaurant but due to problems they were having we decided to leave. We went all over Llandudno but everywhere was full or had a 1+ hour wait. We then stumbled upon Osborne House which looked more like a hotel from the outside. Upon walking in we felt we'd walked into a members-only stately... More
