Osborne’s Café and Grill in Llandudno -- could there be a more romantic restaurant anywhere? Set in the Grade II listed Osborne House Hotel right on the promenade, Osborne’s is a modern tribute to high Victorian style. Softly candlelit and decorated with opulent drapery, period fireplace, gleaming chandeliers, gilt mirrors, antiques, paintings and fluted columns, the dining room still manages to be relaxed and informal. Perfect for light bites or full meals, the menu uses local produce to create inventive, seasonally-changing modern European dishes. Everyone loves the Conwy Valley lamb shank with ratatouille and basil when it’s on the menu and the Osborne’s rendering of fish and chips.

Booked for a birthday meal following a recommend from the owners of the B & B we were staying in. We were wanting a special meal and expecting a fine dining experience so we were a little disappointed when the menu arrived which was a piece of card headed by all day menu and containing things like sandwiches and bangers... The use of the word Café to describe this place understates what is on offer here. We have visited Osborne’s on every visit we have made to Llandudno over the last 8 years or so and it is always one of the highlights of our stay. We have had morning coffee, lunch, dinner, and sometimes just popped in for an... More

Recently had meal in the restaurant. Food was very basic, no atmosphere and to make things worse a huge ball of melted candle wax landed down my back from the wall candles which are all around the restaurant. The waiter simply wafted a table mat as close as he could reach for the candle to be blown out but after... More

Experienced a lovely meal on 1st of February. The hotel and restaurant were very quiet but this did not detract from great service and a lovely meal for four of us celebrating a birthday.

The room is part of the past, lush settee pictures on the wall, and fires to give a warm feeling. The staff are pleasant and helpful, the food is good, but depends on what you choose, scallops great, lamb shank poor, ate twice here, two nights running ,so it's good
