Truly unique

Spoilt my son with tickets to the snooker for doing well at school this year. This was our first trip to Wales and so glad it was Llandudno. My husbands birthday dinner and a 3hour drive to find a special dinner. This is a favourite of ours, we visit about once a year. The food is constantly great, perhaps because the chefs own the place. The meat is on the menu, but the fish menu depends on what is fresh that night. Crawfish and chorizo risotto tonight followed... More

We have visited the restaurant on several occasions and have never been disappointed. In a previous visit the chef/ proprietor was extremely helpful, going through the menu with me as I need a gluten-free diet. I was really happy to see on this visit that they had added allergen indicators to their menu. On this visit we had family members... More

disappointing considering the price, Expected better quality. Fish was tasteless and crab cakes where more like mini burgers. Staff and service was good.

For what we had I found the cost excessive. My fish dishes were tasty but small and the fish in the main were slightly overcooked. My wife's lamb was overpowered both in taste and content by the jus which, served in a bowl, rather than on a plate made it resemble soup. The "French fries" were frozen chips and the portion of... After a great meal here last year, we looked forward to a return visit. Unfortunately it was disappointing. Same informal atmosphere, a good bottle of Albarino, but the food was a good notch down on our previous experience. Instead of a large spanking fresh Bass fillet, we had a standard/schoolie/farmed-size one that was overcooked. The Conwy mussels instead of being... More

Excellent menu, great service and fabulous food. We had starters and mains and the greedy husband had a super pudding. All cooked without fault. I can thoroughly recommend the duck - the sauce was excellent. Reasonably priced high-end food, served beautifully. A "must do" if you are lucky enough to visit Llandudno. Easy to reach on foot from the town.... More

We visited the seahorse on the off chance they may have a table. They managed to squeeze us in although they were to be fully booked later on. Staff were all lovely and made us feel at home. The food was amazing. The best mussels, Prawns and fish we've ever tasted. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
