Didn't expect much but to be honest the food was great value and delicious , ok so its not exactly brand new or even particularly looked after but the food was genuinely nice and great value. It could really be so much more tho with a few quid thrown at it

Considering the lovely location of the Alpine Lodge, the décor of the lodge is disappointingly out-dated. We only had drinks, so nit sure what the food is like, but the toilet facilities (the female ones, at least) where awful.

Stopped and had a drink after visiting the Toboggan Run. I found the Chalet rather disappointing and felt it could have done with a bit of a make over. Seemed rather grubby. Great for children who at the time I think were having a party there. not very appealing for adults. One good point is the fantastic views.

Awful food, ponsy waiting staff, pricey for what they serve. Good views, though. I haven't been since but have been told by friends their experiences were similar to mine.

Having visited many many times I cannot understand why something isn't done to improve this place - it has the potential to be so much much better. It has a lackluster atmosphere doesn't know what it is or what it is trying to be. Beer is average taste but expensive and usually one is waiting to go rather than to... More

This could be such a stunning (and money-spinning) attraction, overlooking the ski slope and bay as it does. Instead what is offered is a very tired, shabby, messy, and depressing alpine lodge serving mediocre drinks (even two drinks caused the bar staff confusion). We can't comment on the food as we couldn't bear to stay for any. Toilets really dank,... More

We visit Llandudno often and came for Christmas 2012. The first place we always go to when we arrive in Llandudno is the Alpine Lodge at the Ski Slope. There are great view of the bay and The Orme and they serve the best hot chocolates around!

I actually like the Alpine Lodge. Yes it is grotty on the inside but the food is very good value for money. The menu is a bit basic but everything I'd tried has been tasty enough. The views are the main selling point though and make it worth the effort. Don't be put off by the indifferent reviews, give it... More
