ENJOYED

Excellent traditional pub - apparently the oldest of its kind in Llandudno - with a nice ambiance and very helpful, friendly staff. Went twice for the quiz (Music one night, General Knowledge the next) when stopping over at Llandudno and enjoyed both nights (the quiz master was very good). It was... read more

Drinks came within a few minutes, food no sign after 30 mins so we waited and waited and waited the place was not busy. 2.20pm food came oh dear parsnips were cremated, sirloin of beef should of... I have previously put a good report on here but having eaten there today it has definitely gone downhill. We ordered slow braised lamb at nearly £14 each and were very disappointed. We got a dollop of dry mashed potato ,a few 2 inch long French beans wrapped in a rasher of bacon and a few little pieces of lamb which was... Great food and beer. Lots of room for the kids inside and out. Lovely to sit outside in the sun during the day and inside near the real fire in the evening. This is what you wish your 'local' was like!

Went to the Kings Head for lunch this afternoon for lunch, I had a beefburger and my wife had a steak ciabata, both were fresh, very tatsy and with 'proper' freshly cooked chips added this some good beers. This pub is next to the tram and has a big outdoor space. Will definitely go again.

Booked a table at the kings head on the 7th April with a good friend. Upon arrival we were seated by a very friendly but inexperienced waiter who was unsure what drinks were sold and had to go back and forth to the bar many times. When we eventually had our drinks we placed our food order which was a... More

We had a few drinks outside on Easter Monday. We didn't eat but the food looked good. The range of Ales was excellent and I really enjoyed the Help for Heroes blond ale.

After our cold trip on the tram we needed some hot food and a drink so decided to try here. We were allowed to take the dog into the bar area which was great. It's a lovely pub with a roaring fireplace. The food was excellent and had a great choice. I would recommend this pub to anyone who is... More

Stopped in to watch the rugby. Staff were really helpful, didn't mind my three year old running riot! Beer good, food amazing, clientele friendly. Would go back again and again.
