We were made to feel very special as the owner agreed to open for our sons birthday treat on an evening that they would normally be closed. We were greeted very warmly and were seated in the main dining area with a very pleasing and professional ambience. The host was very friendly and attentive and engaged us all in friendly... More

My partner and I visited the carmel bistro on saturday night and were delighted with our experience. The host was very professional and we were greeted with a warm welcome on arrival. We were seated in the main dining area which was cosy and well decorated with a lovely fireplace. Nice live music playing in the background added to the... More

This was our first visit to the Carmel Bistro. It was a Friday evening so thought it would be busy. In fact we were the only customers which detracted a little to the atmosphere. The food was very good and the service was attentive. The only negatives were the fact that they still only accept cash payment. Also whilst the... More

My wife and I booked a table here to celebrate her birthday - on arrival there was a card and a wrapped up birthday present waiting on our table by the window which was a lovely gesture from the owner. The food was really tasty, we both had Cheese on Toast for starters and I had the Gammon while my... More

Rang up for a last minute reservation. Lovely room, very friendly host - couldn't do enough for us. Decor very tasteful and calming. Set price on food - so very simple to choose. Encouraged to look at the physical bottles of wine to select and all priced the same so great idea again. Had 2 different salads for starters then... More

Booked an early evening dinner for four adults including two elderly relatives prior to a show at Venue Cymru on Thursday 7th February 2013. Thoroughly endorse all the previous positive comments on Tripadvisor regarding the efforts of Neil and his wife Gill. A set price of £15.50 for two courses is very affordable and very competitive. The quality of delicious... More
