Wonderful home-cooked food in a charming bistro overlooking the bay with excellent service from our host,Neil.
Popped By Friday 15.11 for a little family meal, 4 of us. Really nice clean restaurant, Modern decor, and some nice background music. Friendly waiter (Manager I think?) Trying hard to keep people smiling, very polite. A nice menu, and a good choice of starters and mains. Starters were very tasty, nice size :) Main courses were also tasty, but... More
Cute and cosy dining experience with excellent food and a caring host... The menu may not have as much choice as a standard restaurant or pub chain, but that's because quality over quantity of choice overrules. It showcases the thought and effort that has gone into creating a menu that will have you wanting to order one of everything because... More
Terrible food , very little choice , a very unusual experience but would not go again. Stuck in a back room when the main room with the scenic views was empty ??????
Doesn't look anything from the outside but this hides a real gem. Fantastic menu (I wanted to try it all!) and excellent value at £15.50 for 2 courses. Lovely local ingredients all freshly cooked to order. Steaks were amazing! Friendly, efficient service. It's a small operation so don't expect a large drinks choice - also limited number of tables so... More
We arrived early and met the owner Neil, who had the knack of being polite, friendly, welcoming and efficient... We sat in the bay window overlooking the promenade and the food was just excellent. I had a hail and hearty vegetable soup and a massive steak in a brandy cream sauce with rosti potatoes and a cauliflower cheese. My friend... More
Beautiful, imaginatively cooked food and excellent value for money. Went as a group and stayed two days, so we tried everything on the menu, nothing disappointed, all freshly cooked. A beautiful room with sea views.
My wife and I went back to Llandudno to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. We had our honeymoon in Llandudno in 1974. We visited 'The Carmel Bistro' and loved it. The service, the food, the atmosphere was wonderful. John & Margaret Marsden

What a fantastic find! The food was excellent, service second to none and great value for money. Two courses were approximately £15.50 each. The Bistro is only small, so we would recommend booking to ensure you get a table. Free on road parking outside. The lighting, background music and the host provided a totally delightful dining experience.
