This was our second visit to The Carmel, we had such a nice meal last time, that we decided to visit again and we weren't disappointed. The menu is limited, so you have to pretty much like everything. But for a unique and intimate dining experience, The Carmel is well worth a visit. The food is cooked to perfection and... More

We chose the Carmel based on Tripadvisor reviews and we're not disappointed. The service is friendly and helpful and although the menu is limited the quality of the food served is really good. Our steaks were delicious, the best we have eaten for years. I was a little hesitant about the wine selection - there isn't one, apart from by... More

We enjoyed our second visit to the Carmel Bistro as a birthday treat. We were absolutely delighted with the evening... the food was exceptional, presented beautifully with a fantastic reception on arrival. A set menu with choices and it was difficult to know what to try. The steak melted like butter in your mouth. We eat out a lot but... More

Visited the Carmel Bistro for my husband's birthday in March, as part of an overnight trip to Llandudno with our teenage son. Neil had been very pleasant when I rang to book the table a few weeks earlier, and he greeted us warmly when we arrived. The restaurant is only small, but the décor and lighting make for a relaxing... More

It's not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is cosy and warm. The menu isn't extensive, but all the options are tempting. I had steak, that was cooked to perfection and covered in a fantastic spicy sauce - rates as one of the best steaks I've ever had. The choice of wine was red or white,... More

Booked a reservation for mine and my partners 1 year anniversary. The food was excellent and Neil was a great host made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be going again!

We went last night for Valentine's Day. It was brilliant! Very cosy and had a great atmosphere. The food was delicious! I had mussels which were gorgeous! My other half had steak which was cooked perfectly! We had 2 courses for £17.50 each which was great value. Neil (the owner) instantly made us feel welcome and looked after us (and... More

We found this lovely bistro on our last visit to Llandudno quite by accident and were fortunate enough to have a beautiful meal here. Neil was very friendly and helpful, he even found time to have a little chat with us before we left. We enjoyed it so much I have booked to stay for a couple of days in... More
