We've been here many times and is usually our first choice when visiting Llandudno. The food is well cooked and fresh. The staff are friendly and efficient. However this time although the food was lovely as usual, they were extremely busy and people were being directed to tables they hadn't booked and told just to find somewhere to sit. The... More

First thing that became apparent was the friendliness of the staff, a good shop window. An attraction to come here are the range of cask ales and their comprehensive tasting notes above the bar. An excellent selection of items from both the Menu ( main and Bar Snacks) and the Specials Board, we were a party of 4 and no... More

During a recent trip to Llandudno we visited the Albert twice and we were delighted with the food that we enjoyed on both occasions! Over the course of the two trips our family tried the poached plaice, salmon and smoked haddock fish cakes, meat and potato pie, whitebait and chicken rogan josh and they were all excellent, amongst the best... I went with a friend and booked a table. When we arrived it was very busy. Although it was uncomfortable we thought this was a good sign. We eventually got served at the bar and told the barman we had booked a table and asked what to do. He gave us our drinks in dirty glasses ( which he changed... More

Had dinner for three at The Albert on 6/9. We had booked during the day and a table was reserved but not in a particularly comfortable area of the pub - right by the bar hence noisy and crowded. On asking for a better table we were told this was not possible, even though tables did become available by the... More

We visited Llandudno for the August Bank holiday weekend and following the Trip Advisor's reviews we had booked restaurants for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and I booke The Albert for the Sunday night. The Albert Pub had excellent reviews and all I can say is they are not wrong. We were shown our table when we arrived (although... More

It is advisable to book a table. The braising steak was to die for. The Albert was clean and near to the Hilary.

Great little pub in a great little town. Had a very nice selection of ales and pub fare was decent. Clearly a popular local watering hole where everyone knows everyone.
