Excellent doesn't do it justice!!

I've been there on 2 occasions with various family groups of 6 and 8 people some from Llandudno some from Barnsley and even some from New Zealand and they all said how great the food was, WARNING - big portions, and how well we were looked after by the staff. I don't want to say just how good it... read more

We popped in for a late lunch and really enjoyed the small portion roast of the day. A plateful of pork, crispy crackling, roast and mash potatoes, cabbage, green beans, peas and stuffing. Piping hot, promptly served, friendly staff... £4.95 bargain and a good local ale.

For a pretty ordinary looking pub this was a great surprise. The Albert was recommended by our B&B landlady whilst we were on a weekend stay in Llandudno. We took her advice & booked our table, the need to do so became clear very quickly. It's a busy little pub with friendly staff and a great welcoming atmosphere. Food was... More

We went on a rainy Sunday night, looking for a decent pub meal and found a classic. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and their selection of beers was first rate. I had battered Hake whilst my wife had the smoked haddock with poached egg, and both meals were excellent. We liked the pub so much that even though... More

My earlier visits have been after singing at Cor Meibion Colwyn`s concerts at the nearby St Johns church. This was the first time I have had a meal there and the service and quality of the meal were excellent, so it certainly wont be the last meal we have there. We had the chicken curry... a very well prepared meal... More
