There have been great improvements to the layout over the past year or so with so much more light throughout the pub. Drinks remain pricey but still not the dearest in town. Had an evening meal here. Didn't book but just managed to get a table. Had burger for main course and it was gorgeous. Partner had home made scampi and was the best ever. Chips were great too. For dessert we had creme brûlée and sticky toffee pudding. Both excellent.

The pub is very interesting, well cared for and the food looked excellent with a different style of menu. Good choice of well kept real ales. We only had sandwiches at lunchtime and would have eaten there in the evening but unfortunately we couldn't take our dog in with us.

Parents took me to this pub/restaurant so I could treat them to lunch. Now I know why! Great food, good portion sizes and nice surroundings made dining out a very enjoyable experience. Menu was varied and of reasonable price. Service was efficient and polite. Overall very good. Pay a couple of ponds more and give Weatherspoons a miss in favour... More

We ate here twice on our weekend away in Llandudno, once in the evening and then again for Sunday lunch. On both occasions the food was excellent as was the service, the staff went out of there way to find us a table as they were quite full. I would definitely recommend this place well worth the money. It wasn't... More

My husband and I viisted the Cottage Loaf recently after reading good reviews. It was a warm Saturday evening and the pub was full inside and out. We hadn't booked as we were on a weekend away but asked if there was any chance of a table for two. We were told they would keep any eye out for us... More
