Good value for money

we visited on 27/03/2015 in the early evening, both of our meals were really tasty, the portions were ample the place has a very nice ambiance with log burning stoves, excellent service by friendly staff. We could not fault it and will return later in the year. But you must book it is very popular

The Cottage loaf is a very quaint country style foody pub which always seems to be busy, despite being next to the much cheaper - and also pleasant - Wetherspoons. The pie was great but the wine overpriced (£14.50 for cheapest house wine!). The back room can be cold but the front room is much nicer. Lively atmosphere but more... More

We called into the cottage loaf for a Sunday lunch but in the evening. The pub is located on a back street tucked away but well worth looking out for. The menu was quite extensive but we opted for the Sunday roast. The food was hot and tasty. The portions were ample and would satisfy all but the greedy. The... More

Visited on a Thursday night in March whilst on a short break in Llandudno. Brilliant old pub with a great atmosphere. Most tables had been pre-booked from 8:00pm but had enough time to enjoy an excellent meal before the table was needed. Menu offered a good choice with a good selection of ales at the bar. Main meals around £12-14... More

Recently stayed in Llandudno and visited the Cottage loaf on two of the three nights we stayed. Enjoyable food and good service.

I have eaten at the cottage loaf a few times and always thought the food was reasonably good. The portion sizes are usually good aswel as the quality although I find it a little over priced. The Sunday lunch was the worst meal I've eaten there. I had 1 very small piece of lamb. I finished my meal and very... More

Like this place, very busy even in March. Food is very good, well presented and the service good. On this visit came a close second to the Albert but you need to try it if only for the atmosphere. Advise to book in advance at weekends.

We've been in Wales since Saturday and this was the first decent place to eat since we arrived. As with all other reviews it cannot be faulted. Its quaint but massive inside. Lovely ambience, menu offers a variety of foods - we just wanted lunch and opted for Ham and cheese sandwich. I also opted for a cup of tea.... More

A little difficult to find tucked away on a backstreet (Market St). The place is busy and when we arrived on a Monday at 1.30pm there were few tables left. The main bar was full and we ate in the conservatory which was festooned with interesting pictures etc. on the walls. My wife had the rarebit which she pronounced very... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal with friends. The service was very good and orders arrived quickly. Large choice of home cooked dished. The triple cooked chips are amazing. One of our party had a issue with her food but this was sorted out quickly.
