A prettily planted flower garden front and rear, both with outside eating, bar meals no need to book but upper bar level and rear room need booking in the evening as this is such a well loved pub and restaurant. Staff great, attentive, food different and amazing tastes. We did not try desserts :-( too full.

Its always busy in here so advise you book ahead.Ideal location just off town centre (Mostyn Street). Great atmosphere in this quaint hostelry which I have frequented for over 30 years. Had high expectations on the food as I hadn't tried before and read all the fantastic reviews. I presume I hit them on a bad day. The service was... More

The restaurant was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. You really do have to book for an evening meal as it gets very busy. We ate in the conservatory at the rear of the building, and it was gorgeous. We did not wait too long for our meal and it was delicious.Pleasant, friendly staff, a really enjoyable evening.

Having left the Kings Head after being greeted by a surly barmaid and told we'd have to wait 10 minutes for a drink we left to find somewhere more welcoming; arriving at the Cottage Loaf. Walked inside to be greeted by smiley welcoming barmaids! Take note Kings Head! We sat in the beautiful beer garden - I sprawled out on... More

Get reservations (though they will try to squeeze you in if they can). Order at the bar, but the food was of a quality of the finest restaurants. Good selection of beer and wine, friendly and helpful staff.

I came here with some friends as we live in the area and have always been recommended to go, we sat out side and the scenery outside is beautiful, with flowers everywhere! The food was fantastic as was the customer service!! Will definitely be returning!
