While in Llandudno recently we ate here twice. The first time we just popped in for a beer on the sunny terrace. We had our dog with us who was more than welcome outside with water bowls available. After reading the menu we decided to share a huge bowl of local mussels and a bottle of wine. An excellent treat... More

Seven of us ate in the outdoor area. Food was decent pub grub. I believe the Romans served food on crockery over 2000 year ago, so why putting food on wooden boards has happened is a mystery. Its unhygienic and food gets cold quickly. Food a bit pricey, but plenty of room and the new extension is very well done.

Without a doubt, the best ever Sunday lunch! I am so glad we booked the Cottage Loaf after reading Tripadvisor reports. All of the staff were friendly and efficient the food was superb. Most of us had lamb and the other opted for turkey. Sunday lunch (pork, turkey or lamb) was £10.95 and desserts were from £5.25 - £5.75. One... More

After trailing around Llandudno for somewhere nice to eat outside and getting nowhere, I spotted The Cottage Loaf across a car park and am so glad we did. Lovely setting in the outside garden, friendly staff and excellent food. Can't praise this place highly enough. Food obviously made with pride and the flavours were above and beyond ''pub grub''. The... More

Just had a smashing week in Llandudno - we visit at least twice a year and always look forward to eating and drinking at the Loaf. This time we ate Sunday lunch (outside in the sunshine) - roast beef dinner was lovely - no complaints & clean plates and booked a table one evening and had the steak burgers as... More

Lovely meals and substantial portions. My wife and I chose meals off the light bites menu, one beef and onion in French Mustard sauce and one crab and crayfish on granary, both were lovely.Despite not being big chip eaters, the accompanying triple cooked chips were terrific.Next time, one of us will order the Conwy Steak Pie which seemed popular and... What a terrific place. It was recommended by the hotel I was staying in. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and seated quickly. There was a terrific selection of food and drinks. The food was amazing. The comfort and atmosphere encouraged us to stay until midnight. It was a wonderful evening.

Was going to eat here but was so busy that we elected just to have a drink. Cannot say more really but would not have been the place for a quiet meal!
